Fab visit. Everything we needed - except pub food finished early. The gym and pool facilities were great. Easy to find as just off the motorway. Excellent that there is a Starbucks in site. We had a really comfortable room.

Group of us went to the Dirty Dancing Tribute Night on Friday 22nd, had such a fab time!
Dirty Dancing was fabulous, we were greeted with Sangria on arrival, all the staff were so friendly, polite and all looked to be enjoying themselves which added to the fun atmosphere. Food was amazing, ate the lot and the service was top notch too!
We stayed over and were treated to Rose in the room as a special treat for a special occasion, such a lovely team at Village Bury and really made us feel welcome.
The beds were really comfy too and the rooms were spotless!
Would definitely recommend!!!!

The hotel is conveniently located and easy to find. The onsite facilities are excellent, with options for how to spend your time whether it be socialising, dining, working out or relaxing. Despite being a busy hotel, the staff always take the time to treat guests as individuals.

We stayed with friends and found the hotel reasonable but a little tired. The self check-in is a little daunting and impersonal and we were lucky enough to find a human being at the desk. The welcome was warm and friendly. Our room was a complimentary upgrade but I cannot say that it was anything out of the ordinary. Unfortunately, it was not cooled but there was an impressive Dyson "no blade" fan that worked well. The bathroom lacked storage and the excellent shower leaked water on to the floor, making it necessary to use a towel in addition to the bath mat to prevent flooding across the room. Breakfast was good, with a good selection of cold and hot dishes. Again, the staff were very friendly and helpful. One irritation was the repeated failure of our electronic key: we were told that the system had recently been renewed but we found ourselves unable to get in twice. Unfortunately, we did not have the time to visit the extensive spa facilities. I would be happy to stay here again.

Great place for a wedding venue. Hotel rooms were lovely and clean and they made every effort to allow us to check in before the wedding. The staff were very helpful. Food was excellent. It was so nice to go in the pool and hot tub the next day. My only complaint was the drinks were a little expensive at the bar.

I stayed at the village Bury on business and found the hotel well equipped, friendly and a clean. Self check in is novel but Impersonal but does the job. Bedrooms are to a high standard but don't have air con you do get a lovely Dyson fan which is very noisy and therefore not much use. Breakfast is self service but the staff are available and very friendly, poached eggs are very good. We ate in the public house on the first night and the food was Ok, The flat bread had been substituted for a 18 inch 8 inch wide doughy finger bread about an inch and a half thick without communication and nothing like the item on the menu. Good range of beers but the Pedigree either needed cleaning or changing it wasn't good. The second night I ate in the restaurant and the food and the service was very good.

We booked here because we were at a Wedding near by.
The Hotel looks very tired even though it not that old.
The rooms are like rabbit warrens its hard trying to find your room and then remember how to get back to reception.
The booking process was very easy and no bother as was checking in.
We arrived and eventually found our room.
The room itself was perfect for what we needed a bed to rest our weary kheadsfor the night.
As i opened the window outside on the floor was full of cigarette buts from people smoking in the rooms.
In the corridor we could smell cigarette smoke.
Themed was extremely comfy ,the shower leaked all over the floor.
We had a good nights sleep.
Breakfast was ok friendly staff food mediocre .

Ten hotel is good value and offers great facilities too. Everything in one place from the bar to the spa. The rooms have recently been refurbished and offer all the home comforts including a coffee espresso maker in the room a Dyson fan to keep you cool and a large flat screen tv connected to Sky. Free wireless connectivity adds to the whole experience.

I love this hotel. I only live 5 mins away but I stay when I can, Christmas parties etc. The rooms are lovely. Beds are very comfy. Had some great nights in the hotel bar, it has a great atmosphere. The spa access is fab and nice and clean. The hotel breakfast is by far one of the best I have had. All you can eat with lots of choice and a great price.
We have also had a family wedding here and it was superb. the lady who looked after us was world class; she couldn't do enough for us and really looked after us. It was very well run and a beautiful day all in all. Highly recommend.

My party of 5 ladies thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Village Bury. The theme night was lots of fun and we would definitely attend another. The upper deck rooms were clean with good facilities and comfortable beds. The pool and Jacuzzi were pleasant and the changing rooms were clean, although the lockers had seen better days, however we were advised these were due for an upgrade very soon.

Lovely cheap weekend away. The hotel had lots of facilities and only £4 in a taxi away from Bury centre. The swimming pool is great but very busy with kids at all times. BUT the biggest problem is NO mirror in the bedroom. Couldn't check out my clothes, couldn't straighten my hair and makeup was Marilyn Manson . There is a mirror in the bathroom but of course it's shoulder high only and straighteners or hair dryer would not reach and too far away to see makeup properly.

Very nice rooms and bathrooms albeit a bit on the compact side and too dark. Have breakfast at Tesco and watch price of some of the drinks. Overall a very pleasant stay. Very pleasant atmosphere in the hotel itself with pleasant staff.

It is a nice hotel, however the booking of a high school prom mid week in a hotel used heavily by corporate guests was a poor decision. Security put on did nothing despite receiving "about 70 complaints".

Because of this I would think very carefully about using the hotel in future, it just seemed so out of character with the image of the hotel, and how they were trying to perceive themselves. An aweful decision as I doubt such events drive much revenue....hense the week night but seriously, look after your core clientele!

Stayed over at this hotel for one night whilst visiting family. Would normally use Premier Inn in either Bury or Prestwich but we were seemingly late in booking and both these venues were full and so booked in at The Village thinking it would be a bit of a treat being double what we might expect to pay at the 'budget' hotels. The plus point is the location being handy for the M62/M66 motorways so not out of the way and easy to find. It has its leisure facilities should you wish to use them and ample parking for guests as well as leisure users. That said, the rest of the experience was not great. Reception staff were helpful and we received our room key to a Club room on 2nd floor. I guess this was designed and kitted out by a man. Decoration was dark and 'trendy' huge TV inc Sky reception. Nowhere to put bags except the floor to be tripped over. Hair dryer plug nowhere near mirror with poor lighting as well. The Bosch tassimo machine did not work and as ever, after showering, the bathroom is so steamed up it was impossible to get dry and the walls and mirror just streaming because of no extractor/ventilation. Nor was there any courtesy light in bathroom for use in nighttime when the facilities are pitch black. All in all we were quite disappointed. The bed was comfortable. However was awoken in the earlier hours with terrible heartburn- my meal was a chicken Cesar salad taken in the pub restaurant downstairs. I have never before had heartburn after a salad, have no idea what was in the dressing but needless to say I won't be eating there again should we forced by circumstance to return. Trust me a return booking will only be as a last resort. I must make clear that all the staff we had dealings with were perfectly pleasant and professional, I feel the hotel let them down.

We stayed for 2 nights this weekend. On the whole it was very good . A couple of problems with the fan and missing towels were answered almost immediately. Even though there was a function taking place we weren't troubled by it. We had a meal in the pub and that was good value. We didn't use the leisure facilities so can't comment on those.

Very disappointing as stayed here on numerous occasions and always had a good stay previously. Reduced personal touch with automated check in. Reduced food standard and lack of care on refurbishment to hotel in general.

Stayed here for a night, we were upgraded to a club room for free..
Very nice modern room with an amazing shower!
We didn't eat at the hotel but we used the pool...leisure facilities were good and the place was clean.
My only complaint is the very confusing corridors! Took us ages to find our room.. up and down and up and down in the lifts!
I will definitely be back!
