Need to make the bed settees more comfy in able for people to sleep on. Overall the hotel was lovely. Our stay was let down by the lack of sleep due to the bed settee being far too hard. We had to fit three in a standard double.

A great evening and stay spoilt by a surly barman in the restaurant he is in drastic need of a sense of humour. Rooms were great and facilities as good. We were there for a family party and every thing went swimmingly well.

Stayed for one night to go to the Dancing Thru the Decades party night and for what we paid the room was good value. Trendy decor and lively bathroom. We had booked a family room for 3, when we arrived the third bed hadn't been made up but within minutes of notifying reception housekeeping arrived - excellent service. Party night was great, food was okay and service was very good. We danced all night and yes drinks aren't cheap but this is a hotel! All in all a good night and I particularly loved the online check in - lived opening the room with my phone!

Good night had by all. The bedding needs drying thoroughly before being put on the bed, maintenance of rooms need checking and a quick polish before change over of guest would be good. The breakfast was also ridiculously priced. One of our party only wanted toast but would still be charged £10:00 for this, therefore we went across the road to a pub and I had a full English for £3:95 with a cup of coffee.

Was wedding anniversary. Service from start to finish. The extra special things we asked for we got with extra help. Service with a smile. Soon got used to me and my friends. Would definitely recommend and come back hopefully getting the same great service. I could carry on but simply couldn't fault it all.

Room was comfortable and the pub section was really nice... however... the drain in the shower was blocked and flooded the bathroom in seconds and the food was variable, chicken lollipops really nice however the chef seemed unable to cook a jacket potato and broccoli as they were absolutely stone cold it was sent back and came back... clearly been blitzed in a microwave not impressed.

Excellent party night fun had by all, drinks extremely expensive!
Didn't have breakfast too expensive £10 slot if you only want toast! Good pub across the road with excellent breakfast choice! 3\4 of the price!

Went to meet friends and for a show.
The hotel rooms were very clean, modern and the bed was very comfortable.
The staff were very helpful especially the young lady on reception.
We enjoyed a visit to the swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna.
The breakfast was worth the money
The only downside was that as we were attending an event at the hotel when we entered the room all the ladies had their handbags checked for alcohol.
When we got to the bar we realised why!
The wine was £5 a bottle more expensive than in the main bar and my wife asked for a jug of soda water it was £4.80.
That complaint aside i would recommend this hotel.

Looks like the rooms have been recently renovated so this aspect was very nice. Check your bill carefully, I was emailed my invoice after check out and found that it wasn't correct - i wasn't given an opportunity to check it at check out.

Though it is a big hotel on a busy location, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the leisure facilities were great. Very good value as we booked during sale. First room was at the front and very noisy but new wing quieter and nicer.

Visited The Verve restaurant - the meal was beautiful! Reasonable price and friendly service - wI'll definitely visit again in the future. The only slight letdown was the noise - there were three rather large parties on at the same time so a quiet meal was out of the question - however the staff were attentive and did their best to make the evening enjoyable. If your after a quit evening check with the restaurant first.

Stayed here as attending a nearby event, booked 2 nights to make use of the pool and facilities. Stayed in a club room (which lacked a mirror but nothing else) comfy bed, great shower! coffee machine, hairdryer, TV all high standard. Pool / gym area good, might have been better if the 'kid free' swimming times were longer. (only because i was travelling without children, If i'd have taken my children i might have said the opposite). The spa was great, very friendly and they had a few appointments left to fit me in last minute. The reception staff were helpful, breakfast was nice and pub area good.
The location was ideal for mototrists. it is located just off the motorway, and only 5-10 mins drive to the shopping centres/cinema/Town centre. Large well lit Carpark

The only downside I would say are there are always a lot of wedding guests in Village hotels. On this visit 'Rowdy' wedding guests caused a disturbance with the doormen, which police attended at about 1am. It wasn't a direct problem for us, but not ideal if you are travelling with children and/or are easily woken by shouting and sirens.

Came back for our tenth wedding anniversary of getting married in this hotel. Very different but a lovely decor. A lovely bedroom and a comfy bed. Staff seemed nice. TV didn't have full sky package as advertised. Meal options for vegetarians were extremely limited and we weren't offered the wine that was included in our package. Expected just a little more for the money and the special occasion.

The night was OK for a groupon stay however I don't think we would rush back. The leisure club and restaurant was lovely, however the choice of breakfast was disappointing. The times for breakfast were also slightly too early (finishing at 9.30am) during the week therefore on a Groupon voucher, we weren't able to utilise the leisure facilities in the morning which we would have liked to. Rooms have everything you need and more, very comfortable beds.

The hotel was nice and friendly the room had dirt under bed and in draws. Didn't complain as it was just a place to get my head down for the night. Bathroom was lovely and clean. They didn't have enough pillows for me to have a good night sleep

I was staying here for work in the area for a couple of nights. The room i was in looked like it has been fairly recently refurbished (possibly in the last six months), not a large room, but with nice decor and well presented (note that there was a large shower and no bath). There was a good fan provided, which was used on a particually warm night.
The wifi was good throughout my stay.
I had one breakfast at the hotel, which was good - a decent buffet selection of hot and cold items. The second day I chose to have breakfast at Starbucks in the hotel, so there are good options available (this was more cost effective than the hotel breakfast).
I didn't like that on checkout I wasn't given an opportunity to check the bill as they charged it to my card and then emailed the invoice, this resulted in me having to call later in the day to rectify an incorrect charge on the bill (this was resolved quite easily, but it would have been nicer to be able to do this face to face on check out rather than having to check and call them back).
It's a very large hotel with a variety of facilities, but I didn't make use of any of these during my stay. Good loaction of the hotel, it is possible to walk in to the main shopping centre from the hotel and very close proximity to the motorway.

Stayed here on a Sunday night deal £10 per room if you spend £50 in the hotel on food and drink. Have stayed here before but rooms are newly renovated ...gorgeous...new carpets...bathrooms ...
decorating, huge tv. We only booked the standard room so I am unsure if the upper deck rooms have been renovated. We spent some time in the gorgeous pool sauna and jacuzzi. We decided to eat in the pub rather than restaurant due to price but our meals were lovely and good value. The only fault was that our room was on the first floor and appeared directly above the function room where a wedding was taking place. We could hear their disco until 12.30pm but are not early to bed people so we just watched a film which we would have done anyway. Breakfast was excellent... Worth the £10 pp charge. Will definitely stay again.
