My recent stay in the village hotel bury as usual my stay was very enjoyable and well worth the money, all the staff are extremely friendly and willing to help as best they could. The food in the public house is amazing and is well worth a try would really recommend staying there

We came for a birthday weekend away. All staff welcoming & helpful. Hotel itself was clean and very well presented, great food at the public bar. Spa was really good and swimming facilities with sauna and steam room. We will be coming again in the future

Didn't enjoy the stay because, the wall were so thin, I was able to hear the couple next door argue till well after 2am. When I phoned down to inform the night porter, there was no one there. Little sleep that night.

You know what to expect when you stay at a Village hotel...rooms on a par with the Premier Inn, but the added bonus of facilities such as swimming pool and gym. Great family getaway. I would recommend it.

Business stopover and used the Village rather than the Premier Inn in nearby Bury as I've used the Village for a meeting point and wanted to make use of the facilities

Check in dead simple, self service and easy to use, visited he leisure facilities and just about managed to squeeze in a Spin class, followed by a swim - facilities are top class wood recommend

Couple of hours work in the room (more about this later) before heading down to the Pub in the Village for a bite to eat, served quickly and plentiful

Back to the room, a bit more work and took in a film, only then did you realise how warm the room is, no air con and just a Dyson fan to cool the air was a bit of a shock I must admit, thankfully it rained to cool down the air

Breakfast was good, would certainly stay again but "upgrade" to a room with air con

Very convenient for meetings. 100 yards from the motorway. Starbucks coffee shop and good lounge reception. Big car park. Friendly staff. Good facilities and does what it says! Pool looked very good. Only downside was a dry pastry from the Starbucks concession!

Just wanted to escape for a day. Everything was perfect. The staff were exceptional. Enjoyed the pool with my daughter. We live locally and we consider ourselves lucky to have such fantastic leisure amenities at our doorstep. Definitely will go again!

Our room was hard to find and i would have liked more tea and coffee which when we asked for we were given tea bags but we had no kettle to make the tea. The shower seems to leak alot but apart from the minor things it was ok. Very expensive for what we got. Would only book again if we got a deal

Overall I like this hotel. I've stayed twice, I'd go again. I have family in Bury and so my main requirement of a bed to sleep in while I visit is well met by this hotel. Good location, right off motorway & walking distance into town. Really friendly, helpful staff.

The best hotel I have ever stayed at highly recommended, friendly staff and always willing to help, great value prices for high quality rooms, a wide range of facilities that you can use and very comfy beds

Nice bedroom, but very old fashioned bathroom. No fan in bathroom and the main bedroom needed a ceiling light as was too dark. No air con in the room but there was a wall heater or dyson cool air. Gym was fab!

Great stay at the hotel. Although the first welcoming was not the greatest with the new reception desk, the rest of the experience was very good. Great Leisure Area so enjoyed the swim/sauna/Steam Room and the staff were really helpful.

The village hotel always provides great customer service and comfortable rooms that are value for money. The on site pub is a real bonus and the music night was great. The reception team and breakfast team are a real credit to the hotel and make you feel very welcome. Nothing is too much trouble.

My husband and I stayed with you for our 10th wedding anniversary, from arrival to departure we were made to feel so welcome. We often come and stay at the hotel so we knew what to expect. We both had a back massage from the spa department wowwww!!!!. A few drinks then and ohhh very relaxed, just the job we needed. Thank you Bury Village and all the staff.

The stay was comfortable and the service was excellent but there needs to be a makeover of the elevator and room doors to be done. Extra beds were not comfortable for the kids

Stayed for a night in july. Used the gym, ordered room service, had breakfast. All good quality. Small issues, shower leaked across the bathroom floor and at breakfast the tea we ordered didnt arrive.

Overall a very good experience. Staff are warm and customer friendly. I would like to suggest a better a layout of the checkout invoice. When I asked the reception staff to print off the invoice they did give me a brief breakdown of expenditure and costs. I will be using the Village hotels on my business trios in the future.

Got a 2 nights for price of 1 deal. Rooms fine (although only a sofa bed for 2 kids). Nice bar, lovely staff and great pool. Everyone very helpful and smiley. Free entertainment in bar - man singing with guitar. All good!

I had worked 20 days in a row and just needed a relaxing break, booked for a Thursday and Friday night, spent over 4 hours relaxing in the steam room, Jacuzzi and sauna, and loungers on Friday a much needed chill out time, also nice to get up to someone else cooking your breakfast

Very good value for money and lovely hotel. Tribute night was Soul & Motown although the female singer was not really in the right genre. More appropriate music would have been better. This said a fabulous night was had by all.
