Bought a Wowcher deal for a Spa Day and 2 treatments each. We enjoyed everything, though I seemed to have a more pleasant experience with the massage than my niece. I was given options of the oils used and she wasn't sadly. Worth the money though.

Me and my husband stayed over night on the 19th August as my husband daughter got married and had her wedding breakfast and party at night there. The whole day was so perfect can't fault the staff at all.Rooms lovely we had a club big and spacious, beds comfortable. Staff friendly I would definitely recommend to family and friends.

For a good value stay this cannot be beaten, especially on the special offer room rates we were able to book in advance. Rooms spacious, clean & well presented, with good bathroom with larger dispensers for hand soap, shower gel & shampoo. Suggest you take your own flannel for the shower gel, & soap if you prefer that to gels. Excellent buffet breakfast & great coffee. Restaurant is well laid out and staff were very friendly & helpful, offering extra tea/coffee etc. Would have appreciated the option of herbal teas in the room for husband who doesn't like to drink too much caffeine, and option to have Bury black pudding for breakfast, but these are minor points. We will probably visit again as its so convenient for the motorway and visits to relatives in the area.

Have stayed here a few times for a night away, always good value and usually a promotion available.
Good offers in the pub on drinks all day and the food was nice for our meal in the restaurant.
Breakfast was a bit disapointing as had to wait while the hit food was replenished but overall ok.

Just back from a stay here is what we thought

. Checking in was easy
. Staff friendly
. Room was brilliant bed was comfortable and large TV was huge(we upgraded.
To club)
. Pool and leisure facilities where nice and clean
. Food in the restaurant was tasty and hot but let down by the drink prices eg (1 pint and a glass of water was 6.30)

All in all was a great stay and good value for money our favourite of THE 4 Manchester Village Hotels. REALLY ENJOYED IT HIGHLY RECOMMEND XXX

We stayed prior and after a wedding we were attending locally. The room was modern spacious and clean. We enjoyed the food in the restaurant both on the first evening and breakfast time. All the staff we came across were friendly and helpful

Love this place and will not stay anywhere else. Stay over 5 times a year leisurely and they are always there to make the stay better. Staff, facilities, rooms spot on
When you walk through the hotel doors you are out of reality for those 24 or so hours. AMAZING

The super friendly and efficient staff make this a great place to stop. We stayed just one night but would have happily stayed on for longer. The pub menu was reasonably priced with a great selection of gorgeous and tasty food.

Overall good experience. I was not able to enjoy leisure facilities but it was all there under one roof. Lot of parking places and open space. Location too remote but its ok if you have car. Only one incident when someone was too drunk bang on the door int the middle of night. rest is ok ;0

The hotel is located a mile or two from the town centre next to the M66.After climbing the steep steps at the front of the hotel you are expected to check in on a computer and get your own room key. Needless to say the room key didn't work. The hotel has only one lift serving the central part of the hotel and this broke down more than once.
We went to a function on the lower floor and it was fine. The alcohol prices were ok but £2.70 for a small lemonade from ' the pump' was a rip off.
The leisure facilities looked exceptional although you have to pay for further £5 to use them. Overall I was not impressed.

All round great stay. Very little i would comment on for improvement. Nice rooms, friendly staff, comfortable bed, great food in the restaurant - due to the length of our stay we could've used a little more room and wardrobe space.

Stayed one night with my partner. Very nice, from start to finish, arrived fairly late, massive carpark in front of the building with enough room considering its also a leisure club for general public members as well as residents.

Front desk evening receptionist was great, very friendly and helpful even though she had only worked there roughly a month at the time. Great facilities, Starbucks on site (like with many Village Hotels), great bar/Village pub on site with helpful friendly staff again. Leisure facilities were perfect considering the fairly good price we had on the room, all the regular spa attractions, steam room, sauna, whirlpool and a decent sized swimming pool.

Could I grumble about anything? Not as such, if anything (and just being picky) the glass surround on the shower in the Club rooms could have done with being wider, considering the well sized fixed shower heads, the glass is too small and water ends up flooding the floor, no matter how careful you are, but that's all!!

Pay the (little) extra and go for a club room! Highly advised, great big comfy bed, Sky TV packages with movies on a family sized flat screen TV! Great facilities and extras in the rooms. Met a housekeeper on the way out when leaving the room and she was as nice as many had been during our stay, well done to all. Will definitely come again, already looking at our next visit.

I stayed here midweek as the hotel was close to where I needed to be the next morning. I must say that I did not like the self-check in using the tablets - as soon as I ticked to say that I did not want to pay for an upgrade the tablet would freeze and take me back to the start. Fortunately there was a member of staff at the tablets with a laptop, who checked me in very quickly - even giving me a free upgrade, which was much appreciated.
The room was on the large side, but quite sparsely decorated, so looked a bit empty and did feel quite masculine. The room overlooked the carpark so was pretty quiet, and whilst there were wooden venetian blinds, there were no curtains so there were chinks of light coming into the room. The bed was very comfortable and it was all very clean. The TV was huge, and again the bathroom was clean with plenty of towels but I would have preferred a bath rather than a double shower taking up the same amount of room as a bath. Coffee machine in the room, but no biscuits.
I ate in the Verve Grill, and the food was freshly cooked and very nice but whilst the service was very friendly it was very slow. Reasonably priced. The restaurant itself was very dim, which made it look a bit dingy, and almost unclean (which it wasn't!). I also had breakfast in there, and even in the bright morning light it was still very dark and dim - I think they've taken trying to create an intimate atmosphere a bit too far!
I need to go back to Bury in a couple of months and would stay here again.

The room itself was good value - comfortable beds, tea and coffee facilities and standard bathroom.

The restaurant let our stay down as it's very average and over-priced. We ate breakfast here twice and dinner once. The menu for dinner looked good but when the food arrived it wasn't anything special. Also the service during both breakfast and dinner was very slow which became frustrating. If you are able to, I would recommend eating in the pub/restaurant that's a couple of minutes walk from the hotel.

The location worked for us as we had the car and used the hotel as a base to get into Bury. Without the car the location would have been a pain as we would have relied on taxis.

Overall we had a pleasant stay and would return if we were in the area.

Easy check in, great breakfast.Super facilities. Only minus was the way to the room which was a bit difficult with a big suitcase. the staff was nice and check in was very easy. Had forgot my shaving foam at home, but the girl at the reception got me some from the spa areas FOC.
