Admittedly we rarely eat in but we always enjoy the food from here and have never met a miserable staff member or an unhelpful one!
Fish and chips are my default and although it is a bit more expensive than some my Wife and I have never had a bad meal. Best in Bury by far!

I had the chips and mushy peas and they were lovely. Definitely the best in Bury! Staff were lovely too. Thanks guys!

Four of us called in early on a Saturday evening for a nice fish tea and that was exactly what we received. Hot, tast and plentiful. No it's not cheap but if you sit inside the prices are clearly displayed and in line with most other cafes.

Called in for lunch today as a treat. Nearly fainted when they asked for £6 for a very basic lunch. I commented on the price and the snooty young woman informed me that the prices WERE on the wall. Maybe the owner needs to review prices and bring them in line with the competition and speak to his/her staff about treating customers with more respect. They day when Thompson were a cut above the rest I'm afraid and I wont be returning. Also don't leave the pies in as long they go hard!!

I got introduced to this place a few weeks ago by my friend so decided to take my mum today with her friend. We dined in and it was delicious we all tried the Wragg pudding it was so good and the steak was excellent even my mum thought so and she can be fussy so it was very good. Everything was piping hot and it was a great meal.
The staff were lovely and welcome and very friendly as well. Will definitely be back.
