We spent one night at the Red Hall, a family party of eight. This was a late booking but we were able to get four double rooms for £55 b&b, great value. We also needed to book a meal in the restaurant so we spoke to Benn on the phone and he couldn't have been more helpful. He secured us a booking for 12 after the Father's day bookings were completed and he emailed the menu to us.
Three of the rooms were standard doubles, they were quite small but more than adequate for our needs. They were clean and provided tea and coffee making, an iron and TV. The bathrooms were also clean and had bath and shower. The fourth room was larger with a wet room bathroom, again very clean and well equipped.
The hotel was very quiet during the night with no noise from other rooms or the main road.
The bar area and restaurant are small but cozy and we were greeted by Benn on our arrival. From then on he looked after absolutely everything we needed and interacted with the family in a relaxed and engaging way, playing with the children, joking with the adults and making the whole experience more enjoyable. We also had Rosie looking after us at the table and again she was fantastic and had a great humour alongside Benn.
The menu choice was very good and reasonaby priced and we al had a great meal, all commenting on the great quality of the food.
This is a small hotel but it provided us with more than we expected and there is no doubt that Benn and Rosie, along with the other staff made our stay a very good one. Thank you.

We stayed here for three nights over the weekend. It is our second visit. The hotel has undergone a complete refurbishment recently and it has a stylish boutique feel to the rooms and public areas. There are lots of little touches in the room, which make guests feel very welcome. The staff are super friendly and efficient. The gardens are lovely and there is plenty of parking. It is ideally situated, north of Bury near to the M66 motorway, so it is really easy to get to other towns and cities in the North West. Locally, visit Ramsbottom and Rawtenstall, two vibrant towns linked by a steam railway. These towns too have undergone a regeneration and are well worth a visit. Lancashire is a beautiful place to explore and the Red Hall is a great place to stay.

We stayed one night and it was so wonderful. Joseph at the bar and Daniel the night porter could not have been more obliging and friendly. The manager was in reception and greeted us with a smile. Room had a view of the fields. We went out to the garden with a drink and sat in the little romantic wooden cubby hole. We would come back!!!

I stayed here on business. What a lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings. The room was great with everything you would need including an iron & ironing board, clean & tidy, nice clean bathroom and a shower with very good water pressure (only problem for me is it has fixed shower head with no diverter, not great if you don't want to get your hair wet but I did use the shower cap provided).
We ate in the restaurant for dinner, there is a good selection on the menu & it was cooked to perfection, excellent. The highlight of the dinner was our waiter, very comical (he reminded me of Peter Kaye) brilliant service, thank you.
Breakfast is a great selection of cold buffet, cereals, pastries, meats, juices etc with a nice choice of hot cooked food.
Every member of staff I came across were helpful, polite & attentive but not over bearing. A credit to the business.
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay & would highly recommend.

Went to a wedding at Red Hall this weekend. What a fantastic venue. It was not a large occasion but it was made to feel it. The staff couldn't do enough for you. The bedrooms were excellent spacious and very clean. Everything went so smooth. The food was delicious and served hot. Would recommend this hotel to anyone for any occasion as they had voice of rooms for your event.

The Red Hall was my son's & his ,now, wife's wedding venue.
I cannot speak highly enough of all the aspects of the day.
All the staff are hard working and very friendly.
The service received was impeccable.
The wedding and evening reception room were beautifully arranged and nothing was to much trouble.
The quality of the food , not only wedding meal but also breakfast, was of excellent quality and the service was outstanding.
The bedrooms are comfortable, well equipped and reasonably priced.
The management should be proud of all their staff as they are some of the most hard working, friendly and efficient service staff I have ever encountered.
Well done again to all at the Red Hall ...

There are not enough words to describe how fantastic our wedding was here this month.
Firstly the staff are amazing, nothing is too much to ask and they are organised beyond belief. From booking the venue and sorting details with Donna, to the Megan on reception who I emailed countless times with different queries. Warren Co-ordinated our day and this took so much pressure and worry off, everything was totally stress free I cannot thank them enough for such a wonderful day. I’d also like to say Josie (bar/waiting staff) is fantastic and even took it upon herself to surprise our flower girl with a box of unwanted Elsa goodies which was such a lovely touch .

Food is lovely, not one guest was unhappy with any part of our wedding breakfast or evening buffet. Food piping hot (which is mostly unheard of when catering for a large group).
Accommodation is very reasonable for the lovely modern rooms and breakfast included which was gorgeous.
I would highly recommend this venue to anyone considering a wedding venue, it was simply a perfect day thanks to all involved at the Red Hall.

We stayed at this hotel at Easter for a friend's wedding and enjoyed an excellent stay...

The hotel has 37 modern bedrooms all with en-suite facilities and for special occasion or business meeting it offers a choice of three function rooms...

This hotel was opened by Sir Alex Ferguson almost 10 years ago... it is stylish & comfortable with good views over the surrounding countryside...

Oscar’s bar/restaurant offers a fantastic menu and is open daily for lunch and dinner... plenty of parking is also available...

The bedrooms have all mod coms with flat screen TVs, spacious beds & bathrooms, ironing boards, free WiFi, tea/coffee making facilities, etc...

The breakfasts offer plenty of choice with something for everyone - fruits, cereals, cold meats, toast, cooked breakfasts, etc...

What makes this hotel even more special with that extra sparkle is the staff... they are attentive, helpful, and will do anything for you... they made the wedding we attended a wonderful occasion for all...

The Red Hall Hotel and it's staff are well worth a visit, plus this is a grest venue for a wedding or special occasion... highly recommended...

What a lovely hotel. I stayed here for a wedding I attended. Beautiful food. The room was lovely, I could have stayed in the power shower all day. The whole place had a good feeling of quality and attention to detail. Friendly staff too and they can’t do enough for you.

I have previously stayed in the property for a wedding and this time chose to stay there for a family gathering locally.

The room I was allocated was over looking the countryside and was on the ground floor, it was comfortable, had free WiFi, the shower was great and had ample tea and coffee facilities, the bed was a little hard for my liking and had a rough nights sleep.

During my stay there was a wedding and another private function which took up most of the hotel, this resulted in a lack of places to pre drink and we were advised that we had to vacate the bar prior to the private party arriving, if we wouldn’t have been going out in the evening I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have been happy about this, surely there should be some other bar facilities available?

When we arrived back at the hotel around midnight there was quite a number of people who were attending one of the functions outside the reception, for anyone who was along the front of the hotel I think they would have been in for a rough nights sleep, the corridors during the night were very loud, I can’t see how the hotel can do anything about this.

I would certainly recommend the property, I would stay here again and I think that during the week this place would be bliss

Myself and my fiancé have booked to marry here in December so thought we would visit for a meal and sample the food, we are so glad we did. The food was absolutely beautiful, very reasonable in price and service was great. We will definitely be regular visitors.

I have stayed here a couple of times recently while working away. The staff are very friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The evening meal was very good and plentiful as was the breakfast. The rooms are very well presented with a flat screen TV, ironing board, tea and coffee making facilities. Really enjoyed my stay and will look to go back again when working in the area.

My daughter and son-in-law got married here this weekend and it was the most amazing day and night. We stayed over the night before and Pepe looked after us really well in the restaurant. He is lovely! The lady on reception saved the day by printing off one of the speeches for us. I think her name was Megan. The wedding yesterday was perfect. The staff looked after all the guests very well and made sure the day went smoothly. Warren was great and sure everything went to plan, and the bar staff were brilliant. The bedrooms were very clean and comfortable, food was great, so on behalf of Danielle and Martin thank you very much! I would highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for a couple of nights with other family members, we had booked three rooms all of which were very clean, a good size and had a nice bathroom. The staff were all friendly and efficient to sort out any issues that we had during our stay. The price we paid was very good as it included a very nice breakfast too. We had an evenjng meal at the hotel too, which was lovely. We would definitely stay here again.

Great value, I stayed here twice as I was working nearby. I usually go for airbnb as I like my space etc, but I found this place really clean, friendly and the price was great value. I stayed in quite a few places nearby and this was by far the most relaxing hotel to come back to after a days work in an area I do not know. The bed was good too.

Arrived around midday on Mother's Day, so things were a little busy but we were greeted so warmly by Megan at reception. We were a bit early but asked if there was any chance of the room being ready. She said it wasn't a problem and no sooner said than done, we were in the room, with a view up the hillside. The room was fine and had everything you would normally need for an overnight stop. We were going out for the afternoon but on the way out, we asked about booking an evening meal. As it was Mother's day, there was a set menu, which Megan printed out for us to look through. It looked fine and so we booked up for later on. We got back to the hotel and found plenty of hot water for the shower and soft clean towels. The meal was excellent and piping hot, which is a novelty these days and we were well looked after by Kris. Next morning, we had breakfast, going for the full English option, again piping hot and delicious. All of the staff were very friendly and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. Looking forward to visiting the area again and will definitely be staying at the red Hall hotel.

We have stayed here before, and as always we were welcomed with a friendly face.

Check in is easy and simply outlined.

We were in one of the refurbed rooms upstairs, and it was lovely, with fantastic decor and a great view of the hills.

Our only complaint, is that the walls are very thin, and you can here a conversation of people in the next room, which is not ideal.

We missed breakfast, but staff were obliging to make us some tea and toast....even though they were busy getting ready for a manic Mother’s Day of guest.

All in all, a great stay in a good scenic location

Close to the M66, the hotel is very easy to get to, with a large car park. The staff gave us a very friendly welcome & although we only stayed one night, it was a very pleasant experience. The room was a good size & spotlessly clean, as was the bathroom. The power shower was quite possibly the best shower we have ever used with bath sheets to go with it. The breakfast was also very good with an adequate choice. I would recommend this hotel.
