Stayed for a few days, early to be ready for a family funeral the next day. The hotel staff were warm & welcoming on arrival & throughout our stay. The restaurant Oscars - the bar man & the restaurant managers (two) we saw were especially attentive with looking after us - from the drinks in the evening (search fresh cucumber for a gin) & my dietary restrictions for breakfast & dinner.
We came back from the funeral service to the Red Hall hotel where the family & friends gathering was taking place. Drinks in one private area followed with a separate private room tabled area for the buffet. The food & service was spot on. The restaurant manager recognised me he arranged for gluten-free plate of buffet food to be ready for me. All the food was good - from breakfast, the funeral buffet, & our dinners by the Chef/team. The Red Hall went above & beyond to make our stay. We had two extra family members with us for dinner last night & it was the same thoughtfulness & care again. (We missed seeing them at breakfast this morning to thank them once more).

Unable to drain the sink as the lever was missing. The shower was scalding hot with no cold water to regulate it. I had to have a bath as the only safe option

Great hotel, local to Ramsbottom.

A really lovely place in a great, rural location overlooking the town of Ramsbottom. Staff very friendly, bed was comfortable and room was pleasant - even if we couldn't find how to turn off the sauna-like towel rail in the bathroom! That aside, it was a lovely stay and couldn't have asked for much more.

We went to one of the Red Hall party nights in early December with 2 friends and then we all stayed the night at the hotel. We sat on a table for 4 and were well separated from the other partygoers. The food was excellent and we loved the karaoke. Drinks prices were very reasonable for a hotel. The bedroom was large, with plenty of drawer space, as well as a decent sized wardrobe. Everything was so clean. We didn't have breakfast as we thought £12.50 each was a bit dear.

Nice polite friendly staff. Decent on site restaurant. On site free parking. Very close to motorway. Lift for second floor. Reasonable price.
Downside- some rooms small and very dated.
Paper thin walls ….

Visited Oscar's Restaurant in the hotel for Golden Wedding celebratory meal - 23 dinner guests. It was a most enjoyable evening. Great menu choices , excellent service from George (Restaurant Manager) and his team . The food was delicious , cooked to perfection by the Head Chef and his kitchen team and well presented. Lots of compliments by our guests on the excellence of the food.
The restaurant is modern, tastefully decorated and comfortable . We will be dining there again.

The receptionist was very efficient and helpful. The room was very clean, well -equipped and the bed was very comfortable. The open shower room / toilet/ washroom was a bit strange in that water from the shower got everywhere! The breakfast was of a high quality. We would certainly return here.

It was a Saturday, so it was busy with a wedding and a Greek night in the restaurant, however, they made space for us in the bar area for an early dinner. The music from the Greek night was really, really loud, strangely it was jazz not Greek! The bed was hard, consequently I didn't sleep well. The breakfast was included in the price, it was ok. no fruit or yogurt, but there was a menu to choose from, so I ordered poached eggs, which were hard, why do I always forget to ask for runny eggs!!

More of a budget hotel than a 4 star hotel. Very dated. Had dirty bedding and a mouldy bathroom.

Nice hotel, and even being in room 36 closest to the road, I got a good nights sleep.

My only complaint is I couldn't eat the beans with the breakfast as they were nuclear hot! but apart from that I was very impressed and will stay again when in the area

Stayed here as well as having our daughter’s wedding reception. The hotel, staff and food are all amazing. The rooms are very nicely furnished and clean and a really comfy bed. The rooms at the back overlook the countryside and are quieter than the ones on the front. The breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. The room for the reception is a great set up and a good size.

Booked a 1 night stay with husband and elderly parents. There was a wedding reception on but this did not disturb us. Rooms on the ground floor looking out over fields, clean and tidy including the bathroom. Staff very helpful, pleasant and attentive. Breakfast good with quite a few choices. Thanks for a lovely stay.

The hotel is efficient.

No delays at reception.

Rooms were immaculate, comfy beds and super clean.

If you want somewhere to crash, get a good nights sleep with no frills this does a great job.

Great value .

On the hottest day of the year, there was no air conditioning in the room. Also no fridge in the room. No welcome pack of water bottles. The hotel was no where near the shops so at least they should give you some water bottles.
Had to keep my window open during the night to get some cool air, and as the window was open it became noisy in the early morning.
Some improvements need to be added, especially when you pay a lot for an ordinary room.
I don't think I will be staying there again as it's not worth it for the amount you are paying.

We stayed last night at the Red Hall Hotel with our 2 dogs. The room was fine and had a good bathroom with good shower. Nice view to the back over countryside. Evening meal, wine and breakfast were all great. We were lucky with the weather so sat outside but would not have been able to take the dogs in the restaurant of the weather had been bad, which would have been a problem for us. Naz who served us in the restaurant was so lovely and went out of her way to help and welcome us and our dogs, thank you Naz.
