After a lovely walk up Holcombe hill we thought we would come to the Red hall hotel for Sunday Lunch. We both had soup to start, with a wedge of bread, very flavoursome soup. I had the beef to follow which was very tasty and tender, my partner had the seabass which she also said was very tasty and well cooked. For dessert my partner had rum and rasin creme brulee, I couldn't fit one in but got a taste of hers and it left me wanting more, so delicious. Pepe who served us was very good, we will be back next week as its got to be the best one around in my eyes for sunday lunch.

9 of us visited Oscars for January’s Date Night, celebrating a birthday. Food was amazing! Never been before but was wowed with how nice the restaurant was. Very plush! Nice setting and lovely and warm which makes a nice change to most places. Could have sat there for hours

Football was on in the lounge bar area so afterwards gave somewhere for the men to relax separate to the dining area which was a nice touch.

There was a singer on and that was a perfect touch. Sound quality was perfect through the music system even at the back of the room.

We will 100% be returning. Thanks for a lovely evening

Excellent Sunday lunch made extra special with that special service that made you feel wanted as a customer. Friendly attentive and helpful staff, good food in a very nice restaurant.
My wife had the roast pork which was very tasty and perfectly cooked with fresh vegetables and roast potatoes. I had the beef which was full of flavour. There are other menu selections to be had such as fish. Great value.

Checked in for a week
Room was one of the new Contempo rooms
OTT decoration and far too many mirrors
But very comfy bed and fab tv
Only poor point was the very thin walls meaning that my neighbour having his early business call and late conference calls kept me awake
The service however was outstanding
Very very welcoming
Nothing too much
Fantastic

Lovely modern hotel with good views, great staff and a warm welcome. The rooms are a decent size for a short stay, with a good sized bath and power shower. The breakfast was excellent with a terrific choice of pastries, fresh fruit, hot drinks and cooked courses. I recommend a room at the back for the view and if you’re ordering a taxi to go anywhere know where it is you need to go and the postcode, as the drivers are hopeless and for some reason are reluctant to use their sat nav.

We hold our annual party here and every year they never fail to deliver. The food is what is expected for a large party. The staff are really helpful & friendly. Warren, the manager is professional yet approachable. If you’re after a venue for a wedding or celebration look no further. Brilliant

Visiting family in the area- stayed here as nearby. Hotel reception staff so welcoming and all hotel staff really helpful. Christmas parties on in restaurant but we weren’t disturbed in our room as we had grandchildren with us. Parking free and no problem even though hotel busy.
Room super clean and warm. Breakfast plentiful. Great service .
We’ll be back.

Was unsure what to expect. But after a journey which included car, train, tram & bus we was glad to get to hotel. We was down for a football game at Ramsbottom, the hotel itself is only 2 mins from Ramsbottom and cost £3 I taxi so location was ideal really. Room 19 was really peaceful with country side views. The bed was comfy , the bathroom & shower was excellent, only thing missing from room was tea making facilities and/or bottled water. The breakfast was amazing, full English with bury black pudding, tea & toast as expected, cold meats, fresh fruits, quality jams, home made granola with fruit & yogart. Breakfast staff & ladies on reception was very helpful & friendly. Overall was excellent & highly recommended.

Booked for Xmas lunch on the run up to Xmas.
We were disappointed not be given the choice of Xmas fare on the menu (turkey, for instance) so went with the Roast beef main.
The vegetable soup I ordered turned out to be mushroom, I don't like mushroom soup and it was terribly salty.
The Roast beef was fine and the creme brulee I had for dessert was lovely.
I was further miffed to be rushed to pay and then find a neighbouring table was having Xmas dinner. Apparently we could have asked for it!
A bit rubbish, really, I doubt i'll go back

We held my 70th birthday celebration here, just as we did for my wife's 60th birthday previously. There were 18 people attending on the night , and we booked 7 rooms to accomodate them. Everything on the night went like clockwork, and we would like to give special thanks to Pepe, Warren, Libby & Megan for their help with the overall success of the evening. Not to forget the chef of course. They all went the extra mile to ensure a very enjoyable night. Alan & Hazel

I stayed for one night as a lone traveller with work. It was really refreshing to stay in a hotel that actually invests in redecorating rooms. The bathroom in particular was great and looked newly refurbished with a fab power shower and the room already had an iron and ironing board which I don’t always find. The food at the hotel is great too. Breakfast was excellent and the staff are good too. I stay away often on business and this hotel is one of the best I’ve stayed in.

We booked room for our friends wedding ceremony.
Room was £90 which was fair.
Wedding ceremony was really good and the staff were really helpful and friendly.
The food served at the ceremony was delicious particularly the chicken breast! My table also loved the sticky toffee pudding!

Our room was basic but had everything we needed and the t.v. was a great size! BED was comfy. Would prefer to not have to lock the door by key everytime we leave room but can live with that only a small niggle. Plenty of toiletries provided and tea and coffee which we were pleased with.
Breakfast was okay.

If you like having walk some lovely places nearby Summerseat which has an amazing garden centre and serves nice coffee and tea and cakes or Ramsbottom. If you want further details on villages nearby then message me I can tell you further as I work there.
All in all had a great time and would recommend staying here for one night.

I can't fault this hotel at all, everything is perfect apart from some certain employees, Ben is extremely rude to both customers and staff, his people skills are poor, and as a result we refused to eat and ordered a Chinese instead.

The Red Hall Hotel is our favourite place to stay when visiting family in Manchester.
We love the rural location whilst the city centre is easily.accessible by car.
The room we stayed in was fabulous. Very tastefully decorated and furnished with a bathroom which definitely had the "wow" factor.
The cooked breakfast was delicious and the portion sizes were very generous.
As usual though, it's the staff which make this such a great place to stay. All the hotel staff we encountered were friendly and courteous without exception.
However, we have to give a special mention to Megan and Sam on reception as they gave us such a wonderfully warm welcome on our arrival at the hotel and were an absolute delight.
We will definitely be back!

Stayed for 3 nights for a family silver wedding celebration - Really can't make any negative comments about the Red Hall, or the staff, who are really friendly and work so incredibly hard. From check-in to check out, everything went very smoothly - The behind the scenes work put in by Libby, and on the night, by Warren and his team was faultless. We would recommend the Red Hall, and will definitely be staying here again. Well done everyone!

Went here with another couple on "groupon" deal.
Nice big car park.
Nice to see bride having pictures taken as we arrived.
Decour is very nice and staff are very welcoming.
Obviously ate off the groupon set menu ,plenty of choice and all four plates were empty as food was very good for the price.
Would definitely go again.
Thanks for looking after us .

Stayed here for a friend's wedding.

Happy to see a Gideon Bible in the room - always a plus.

Nice area outside to sit in and socialise.

No complaints about the food.

I would be happy to stay here again.

This is an OK hotel, except for a poor night's sleep - around 5:20, I was awoken by a loud noise that sounded like a combination of a pneumatic drill and a fan. It was some kind of machinery in the hotel, no idea what. It was on-and-off for about an hour and resulted in a very poor night's sleep.

We were at red hall this week to celebrate a 70th birthday.
From the start we were warmly welcomed in our own function room.
The food was fabulous from the way it looked and was presented to the way it tasted. The quality was excellent. Well done to Danny the chef!
The service was also fantastic would recommend to anyone.
