Booked a 1 night stay with husband and elderly parents. There was a wedding reception on but this did not disturb us. Rooms on the ground floor looking out over fields, clean and tidy including the bathroom. Staff very helpful, pleasant and attentive. Breakfast good with quite a few choices. Thanks for a lovely stay.

The hotel is efficient.
No delays at reception.
Rooms were immaculate, comfy beds and super clean.
If you want somewhere to crash, get a good nights sleep with no frills this does a great job.

A one night stay while travelling for work. Good hotel

On the hottest day of the year, there was no air conditioning in the room. Also no fridge in the room. No welcome pack of water bottles. The hotel was no where near the shops so at least they should give you some water bottles.
Had to keep my window open during the night to get some cool air, and as the window was open it became noisy in the early morning.
Some improvements need to be added, especially when you pay a lot for an ordinary room.
I don't think I will be staying there again as it's not worth it for the amount you are paying.

We stayed last night at the Red Hall Hotel with our 2 dogs. The room was fine and had a good bathroom with good shower. Nice view to the back over countryside. Evening meal, wine and breakfast were all great. We were lucky with the weather so sat outside but would not have been able to take the dogs in the restaurant of the weather had been bad, which would have been a problem for us. Naz who served us in the restaurant was so lovely and went out of her way to help and welcome us and our dogs, thank you Naz.

I cannot speak more highly about the service I receive every time I stay at the hotel. Nothing is too much trouble and it’s always service with a smile. The hotel is comfortable and always a pleasure to stay at. Thank you to everyone concerned

Stayed here on B&B from 25th-30th October. We were in room 26 , one of the upgraded contempo rooms and got an excellent rate for it too .
It was modern decor &comfortable. Had a walk in shower .
We opted not to have housekeeping do our room up daily but asked for fresh towels / toiletries each day.
The lobby area to rooms is a bit dated, carpets and walls need freshened up.
Breakfast starts 6:30am through the week and your table numbers are on the table . All food has to be ordered, nothing is left out as a buffet . There is Plenty choice but probably not as much as if there was a buffet ( think that’s due to less food waste) and you can order extra if needed .
The evening meals are also served in the oscars restaurant, we ate there twice and was good value for money and nice food . The had an offer menu of 2 main courses and a bottle of wine for £30 . So choose that each time. Alcohol only served when eating .
The decor in oscars is lovely and modern.
Masks are to be worn when not seated but sadly as usual not all guests adhere to the rules . Plenty hand sanitizer to use around the hotel .
WiFi worked great also in all parts of hotel .
The staff work long hours and are really good . Special mention to Naz and Chelsea , they were both so polite and hard working and did all they could to make our stay enjoyable. Thank you .😊

Love this place never disappoints us rooms are spotless and clean beds are so comfortable staff can’t do enough courteous and friendly we’ve just booked again for new year can’t wait would definitely recommend coming here

stayed for one night on business trip to North West. ideal location just of motorway with great staff and very safe feel about the place. rooms very clean but NOT clinical so felt like home away from home.
Food was well cooked and plentiful, reasonable choice and served with a smile.

We got married at The Red Hall on the 27th September 2019 and had the best day of our lives. The team were so much more than we could of ever wished for. Warren made sure the day ran exactly how we wanted it with no hassle and stress - Second to none when it comes to wedding coordinators.
We loved it so much, the team helped me recreated an intimate replica of our day as a surprise for our 1st anniversary. We were lucky enough to hire a room to ourselves, have our wedding music playing and some other personal touches, all organised by Helen and her team.
I can’t recommend this venue and the staff that come with it enough.

2nd stay within last two weeks and very good, welcoming staff and very helpful ,good location for getting into Ramsbottom and other nearby good restaurants although food in Oscars was excellent.
Breakfast excellent albeit a bit slow service but young lad on his own did very well, at least you know each breakfast is freshly cooked. Will visit again when in area

The room was fine as was the restaurant.
The shower over the bath wasn't great becasue is was not comfortable to have a shower which is right over the tap on the bath. The shower screen on the side of the bath was very small so quite a lot of water ended up out of the bath on the bathroom floor.

As a couple we really enjoyed our Sunday Lunch at the Red Hall today. This is one of our favourite places to eat. Lovely starters, melt in the mouth lamb and generous portion of roast beef plus the biggest Yorkshire puds we have ever had. Creamy panacotta and delicious sticky toffee pudding. All staff wore face coverings, cutlery was served on a plate and I saw one member of staff cleaning the pen given to visitors to sign the track and trace list so every precaution taken to keep us all safe. Would not be afraid to visit again and would highly recommend. Well done Red Hall.

Reasonable hotel but I after checking in I was sent to the wrong floor....this was more inconvenient than normal as I am recovering from a broken hip and dependent on crutches to get around.
We were attending a local wedding and, between us hired 4 rooms. All of us were cold during the night. Heating was not turned on and there was no other form of heating ( or air con) in the room neither were there any blankets or extra blankets in the room. One of our party rang in the morning to request the heating was put on, the receptionist agreed to put it on, put it took an hour, until around 9.30, until it warmed up. We had to check out shortly afterwards. When I mentioned how cold I had been and made a friendly suggestion to put spare blankets or an eiderdown in the wardrobe, I was told I should have phoned the night porter. I did not do this because of my disability and the difficulty in getting out of bed safely to get to the door. I have since discussed with my fellow guests in my party. ..they were all cold but none of them contacted the night porter. Also reported problems with the TVs - one room did not have a remote control, the other needed re-tuning. Again told we should have reported it.
Overall Very disappointed, I thought these were basic issues that would not have arisen had very basic checks been done correctly. If you are thinking of staying here be prepared that your comfort and warmth and not top of this hotels priorities, be prepared to check everything

l was told the day before my stay my room would be ready early and l could leave my luggage in the etas l was going to town to a family wedding. The man on reception said he had no knowledge of this and no one should have authorised for me to get an early room He eventually gave me another room. The walls in the room must be paper thin and next door came in noisy and late and were up most of the night talking and shouting At breakfast the waitress said she had no knowledge that we had already paid for breakfast and l had to go back to the room to get the paperwork that proved we had.A disappointing stay
