Our closest friends got married here on the 20/07/19. As my husband was best man, we spent the Friday and Saturday at the hotel.
Are room was on the ground floor. A really nice room, but very hot with no air conditioning. We did try opening the window but as we were in the ground floor we could only do this whilst we were in the room. The shower was brilliant very powerful and the beds comfortable. Great that there was an iron and ironing board to. Breakfast spot on lots of choice.
We had drinks in the bar and ate there also, as the rain was so bad. There were 12 of us and I can honestly say Pepe was just absolutely fabulous. Very attentive, he looked after us all night, what a lovely charming waiter nothing was to much. The only thing I will say is they definitely need more staff serving behind the bar. One barman running between the wedding in the next room and we were told to shout him when we needed drinks. These people worked tirelessly all weekend.
The wedding day. Well again, everyone worked so hard and in harmony.
Warren the maitre d I take me hat off to you. He really is outstanding at what he does. He really never stopped all day. Even the little things, looking not just after the bride and groom, but also very supportive to my husband who was very nervous about doing his speech. Everything ran like clock work and to watch them all working together in harmony is such a pleasure. Carry on what you are all doing and thank you all so much for making the whole weekend very special indeed. We will be returning to stay when we come to see our newly married friends and we will certainly look forward to staying again.

Visited the Red Hall as guests of a close friend celebrating her 70th birthday. First impressions were what a lovely part of Bury! The hotel staff are friendly and helpful, the bedroom and the rest of the hotel are spotless and nicely furnished and decorated.

The room in which we celebrated her birthday was perfect for the purpose and the food was of the highest quality and piping hot, which for over 40 people was a very pleasant surprise.

I understand that the have regular themed evenings and they are great value. Highly recommend!

Myself and my husband stayed here as we were attending a gig at Heaton Park. We were a bit clueless on the area and the best way to get to the gig. The lovely Jade at reception was so helpful and explained the best and quickest way to get there.
The hotel was lovely, clean and a good location. Couldn’t fault a thing. All the staff we came across were extremely friendly.

Ticks all the box’s - great value for money £50-£60 per night midweek.

Literally 1 min from motorway - 15 mins Bury, 30 mins centre Manchester and 5 mins to Ramsbottom

Taxi too Ramsbottom is £3 - (big hill not really walkable) reception have details, lots off good restaurants and bars in Rammy.

Hotel is in nice grounds and very large car park, outside seating area to enjoy a drink.

Room itself is a little dated but spotlessly clean - free WiFi worked great.

Nice bar area with Sky sports if requested, as with most hotels drinks are a little pricey - £5 a pint etc.

Breakfast was very good and cooked to order - great selection.

Found the staff friendly and professional, special mention for the excellent receptionist Megan.

Recommend if working in area

Want a great Sunday brunch, well decorated, great menu at reasonable prices. For a hotel restaurant just fabulous.

Service a little slow. But for a Sunday brunch, this did not matter.

Oscars would survive on it own as a good restaurant.

Stayed 2 nights at the Red Hall hotel and had a fantastic time. We were attending a wedding. The hotel is set in a beautiful area with amazing views. Very close to the motorway and links. The reception staff were both helpful and friendly and sorted out a small issue for us. The room was ample in size with a comfy bed and all the basics you would expect and was fantastically clean. (I would expect bottled water though in the room).
The breakfast was absolutely amazing and again with great service by all and great local food quality. Onto the evening meal in Oscars again the food was superb and the waiter stroke barman Pepe is one of the best waiters I have ever been served by. Thank you. Everything at the wedding was amazingly organised and the food again very good. We will return again at some point. Well done

I dont even know where to begin. From us picking the venue from day 1, Benn and Warren were absolutely amazing. Literally did everything to make it all go as smooth as possible. I had numerous changes and it was all dealt with. On the day was incredible, they went above and beyond for myself and my husband and our family and friends. The food was so nice. The sticky toffee pudding was the nicest pudding I've ever had. I just really cant fault anything. Everything was perfect. I wish I could do it all again. I wouldn't change a thing. Thank you so much to Benn and Warren and team. You were amazing and I cant thank you enough for that.

The hotel has a large, free car park. Check in at 2 p.m. was efficient; the staff were friendly and polite.

The room (number 8) was clean with a view of the hillside and woods behind the hotel.
Facilities: tea & coffee making (a great variety of teas) iron & ironing board T.V. with all of the Freeview channels.
WiFi worked well.

Breakfast was in a light airy room, with background music playing. The full English breakfast arrived at the table about 5 minutes after being ordered. The waiting staff were cheerful and helpful.

The only downside was that you could hear the guests in neighbouring rooms when they were talking loudly or laughing.

We cannot praise the staff who helped organise Brooke’s party enough. Libby helped me choose the right Suite then advised on food, tables, lighting, LED dance floor, numbers, and always replied by return to emails.
Then on the evening of the function Ben was in charge and basically took the stress out of the whole evening for me and just ran it smoothly.
Nothing was too much trouble and he was amazing. My family thought he was fantastic and he really made a special effort with my 98 yr old Nana and kept her topped up with Prosecco! There was a small lift for the less abled and he looked after Nana and delivered her safely !
The drinks reception in the private upstairs bar was perfectly run also by Ben who made sure guest’s drinks were topped up.
The buffet was tremendous and plenty of it, and the service of the other staff who were assisting were lovely.
We had hired a DJ for the last couple of hours of the evening, we hired a huge number 18 which the hotel organised and we had a huge name balloon arch and table balloon sprays, dressed tables and chairs with matching bows and runners, a chocolate fountain & doughnut wall, chocolate trees and a beautiful cake and all these were assisted by Ben in the evening with the set up and then the clearing away at the end.
Several guests commented that it was the best party they had been to as they loved the venue and the staff.
We will be using The Red Hall again for a wedding and a joint 50th, 75th & 100th Birthday party next year !
Thank you again for making my daughter’s 18th a total success

I've stayed at the Red Hall a few times now, an ideal go-between for me heading down South. This hotel never fails to disappoint and I was very pleasantly surprised this time to be in a delightfully refurbished room, to the highest standard, easily puts Red Hall firmly in the 4 star bracket! Staff are always friendly and you're remembered!, excellent with my daughter, keeping her amused at breakfast (lovely by the way). Room and hotel spotlessly clean. all that with great access to the motorway make Red Hall the ideal stop over location for business or pleasure.

We were married at the Red Hall yesterday and we had the most amazing day ever. Warren and Benn were great from us making the initial booking over 12 months ago ,up to and including the actual day.
Both of these men work tirelessly to make sure your day goes without a single hitch and nothing is too much trouble.
Warren was our master of ceremonies during the day and then Benn took over at the evening reception ..up until 1am today when my very tired feet toddled off to bed.
I'd like to thank everyone at the hotel for making sure our day was the happiest and stress free day .

I just wanted to say how wonderful the Red Hall was for our daughters wedding on the 2nd March
Everything was perfect and the Master Of Ceremonies Ben went above and beyond to ensure the day went perfectly. I have never known anyone to work as hard and as professional as he was. Nothing was too much trouble and he took all the stress of the day out of the occasion with his lovely attitude and professionalism. We cannot thank him and all of the wonderful staff enough.
Food was excellent and the rooms very comfortable with everything you need.
I recommend 100% for a wedding or any function. and the restaurant is amazing.
Nothing is too much trouble at this wonderful venue.

Stayed here for two nights to attend a family funeral. Overall, the stay was pretty ok- rooms are spacious and clean, decent amenities included, breakfast was quite nice too. Had a particularly bad experience in the restaurant on the first night (which I wrote an individual review for) but the second night we had a private dining room and bar for dinner which was a lovely atmosphere with good food served by friendly staff. I would have given my stay a higher score if it weren’t for the temperature control (or lack thereof) in the rooms. The first night I was so hot I barely slept- this was with turning the radiator down as low as it would go and opening the window as far as I possibly could (which admittedly, wasn’t very much). I left the room in this state during the day in the hope it would be cool the second evening but sadly, the cleaning staff felt the need to undo my work- turning the radiator back up and closing the window making the second night almost as uncomfortable as the first. In general though, the stay was pretty pleasant and I would probably stay here again.

Although we did not stay at the hotel, we recently (23rd Feb) had a retirement celebration in one of the function rooms. The booking and organisation of the event was smooth and effortless. On the day the room was set up beautifully and the buffet food provided was excellent. A special mention must go to Ben who ran the event and served in the bar, he was absolutely outstanding. He ensured that we had everything we needed and made sure the whole function ran smoothly, many of our guests also commented on Ben’s friendly welcoming manner.
I would definitely recommend The Red Hall for a function venue, we were very pleased with the whole experience.

Stayed here again this week for the third time on business - couldn't review the second as TA rules insist a minimum of 3 months between reviews....why ???.

Anyhow - the hotel still impresses, from the friendly reception staff through the restaurant team to room maids. Clean, tidy, good value and well prepared food.
Even mid week daytime seems busy with locals and trippers alike. Red Hall is an impressive smallish personal hotel.

We decided to stay at the Red Hall Hotel Ramsbottom for Valentines Night . The rooms and actually the whole hotel is modern and has beautiful decor. The double room was great very comfortable beds great Wi-fi and gagits in the room. The colour scheme is very tasteful I would award them five stars. We went for the Valentines meal which included champagne 3 course meal and entertainment. The food was outstanding, the staff and ambience was superb all In all we enjoyed everything so much we have booked our wedding ceremony there for next May. I have to mention Helen the Wedding Planner who made us feel relaxed and welcome great Wedding Package offered. We are very excited about our big day. Love love love this hotel Liz & Paul 14/2/2020
