I attend a weekly business networking event at the Red Hall and it's a great venue. It's handily located close to the M66 there is always plenty of hot tea & coffee to help get us going at that time in the morning & the room we meet in is always immaculate. We get a choice of continental or English breakfast & the English breakfast comes with possibly the tastiest sausages I've ever had! I've not stayed overnight at the Red Hall but I'm looking forward to doing so when we hold our Christmas do there in December.

I regularly attend the Red Hall Hotel for networking events and meeting clients.

They are conveniently located to the motorway and main routes.

The breakfast boasts a selection of fresh fruit, dried fruits and yogurts as well as the cooked breakfast that's on offer.

The function rooms are of a good size to hold networking events, seminars and weddings.

I attend the Red Hall as early as 0645 for networking events and even at that time of day, the staff are attentive and go out of their way to accommodate you.

I would recommend this hotel for business use as well as pleasure.

I attend a business meeting at the Red Hall each week, and am very impressed by the quality of the breakfasts. There is a choice of continental or full english, with the additional bonus of fresh fruits to choose from. The full English breakfasts are served at the table and of excellent quality...especially the sausages...yum!!!

The staff too are very friendly and welcoming. Makes getting up early worthwhile!!!

I attend a business meeting at the Red Hotel on a weekly basis and the service we receive from the staff is exceptional.
They are always very welcoming on arrival and always happy and quick to resolve any issues that may arise when hosting a large meeting.
Following the meeting we partake in breakfast which is served in Ocsars; the quality and standard of both service and food continues. High quality produce cooked perfectly.
If you need to think about a venue to hold a large meeting or just a couple of you then definitely consider here; especially with its easy access to the M66!

I use the Red Hall a lot. For networking events, 1-2-1 meetings and I had the pleasure of staying there in October at a conference held by our UK franchise. The staff are amazing. Their commitment to guests and help was fantastic. We had the pleasure of breakfast and evening dinner at Oscars and it's truly delicious. Highly recommend this venue. Oh, I've also attended a wedding here ... I can't rave highly enough about The Red Hall. Donna and her staff show you how to make attention to detail a work of art. Conveniently close to the motorway, not that I noticed the noise from within the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Attention to detail on servicing room wasn't amazing: previous occupant left a pair of shoes in the cupboard and some body hair in the bathroom, but not much at all; the bathroom was otherwise clean - smart tiling with clean grouting and silicone. The shower was good and powerful. The bed comfortable.

The only thing I found fault with at breakfast was a teapot that didn't pour well, so I was a happy chap with a slightly damp newspaper.

The hotel is pleasant with friendly staff. The interior is modern And the bedrooms are spacious and clean. Free wifi throughout the hotel for guests. Breakfast was buffet style except for the hot meal of which you had numerous choices from Full English to Omelettes.
Lovely base to go walking in the countryside or visiting Peel Tower

We have just returned from a weekend away with friends. Red Hall Hotel is very well maintained. We stayed in room 28 at the back of the Hotel. The room had a lovely view of the countryside, was spotlessly clean, decorated to a high standard and was very peaceful. All of the staff were professional yet warm and friendly - a nice touch opening doors for the guests to enter! We ate in the Hotel Restaurant Oscars both evenings having enjoyed a drink in the welcoming bar beforehand. The food was great-lots to choose from being enjoyed in a beautiful Restaurant. Breakfast was great too. I was a little apprehensive about weddings/parties being held but the function room had its own bar so was entirely separate - no impact whatsoever. We were very impressed with the cost involved and definitely plan to return!

Over the last few years I have reviewed dozens of hotels but I can say without fear of contradiction that The Red Hall is one of the best I have ever stayed in. Located in Warmsley just outside Bury we stayed over night on a Groupon deal.

We were greeted by friendly staff on reception, and quickly shown to our room. a delightful large twin room with views over the fields, it was well furnished the bedding was spotless and the beds comfortable, there was a well stocked welcome tray with tea coffee hot chocolate and biscuits, the room had all the necessary requirement like iron ironing board and hair dryer.

The bathroom was spotless and very modern with an ample supply of fresh white towels the shower easy to use and all the usual shampoos and shower Gell.

Part of the deal was afternoon tea and this was delicious with a selection of sandwiches fresh scones with jam and a selection of mouth watering cakes.

We had a comfortable night and breakfast the following morning was to the same high standard as everything else we had experienced, with a large and vaired menu the local sausages were delightful.

I cant recommend this place high enough, hoping to give it another visit soon.

What a smashing small hotel! Coming with a deal that included afternoon tea we were looked after by friendly staff in nicely decorated surroundings. Our room was spacious with a spotlessly clean bathroom and comfortable bed. A bit too warm though the radiator was not on and being on the road side rather than the hill side, it was a little noisy with the window open. Wonderful big towels. Newspaper under the door with a charge which was a nice treat. Afternoon tea was great and the breakfast was excellent with offers such as grilled kipper and poached egg and smoked salmon and scrambled egg - my favourite luxury. Very good and well run small hotel.

OH WHAT A NIGHT!!!
The Red Hall deserve 5*Star rating, we held our Daughters 13th Birthday Disco party on the 3rd October....... It's was just Fantastic from start to finish! I personally would like to thank Donna the Events Orgainiser as she arranged Chocolate Fountains / Drinks Fountains, decorated the Peel Suite beautifully, even on the night Donna came to make sure everything was how I wanted it before she went out on her night out.
That's what I call being looked after!
Thank you to everyone!!!!!

My wife and I had a fantastic evening there last night, so much so that I couldn't wait to write my review today.
Firstly, the staff and service were absolutely wonderful (polite, kind, happy, smart and very attentive to our preferences and needs without being 'over bearing'). The menu was very good with lots of options, and the food itself was first class, the food presentation was excellent. Although this time it was just my wife and I we will in the future be taking our family and friends - I'm looking forward to them enjoying it also.

The people on reception were friendly which was nice after a difficult six hour journey. The room was spotless and the power shower was top notch. Our room was on the ground floor which overlooked the car park. I left my husband in the room to rest while I went for a walk.I asked at reception where I could go for a stroll as I was unfamiliar with the area. Rather than risk life and limb crossing the busy road I did a tour of the car park and pleasant gardens. The Red Hall Hotel is obviously a popular for a range of events. It was just bad timing that we were there when a more happy event in the way of a wedding arrived. The evening meal was nice and so was the breakfast. Our sleep was disturbed by late arrivals. Doors were banging at 3am. Soft closing doors would be a good idea. We had arranged for afternoon tea so that the funeral party could get together. The food and service was good and well presented. The evening meal was good apart from a salad being served on a hot plate. The breakfast was good and unrushed.I appreciate that hotels are for multiple use, it's just on this occasion I was hoping for something more relaxing.

We stayed here for 2 nights with a Groupon deal. The staff couldn't have been more helpful-it was for my boyfriend's birthday and the receptionist kindly put up some balloons in advance of our stay and the restaurant staff were lovely, particularly Charles who seemed to work such long hours that we wondered if he actually lived there!
The restaurant was beautiful-our afternoon tea on arrival was scrumptious (confirmed by an elderly lady who commended us on eating it all and said she didn't know how we had managed it!). We had an evening meal whilst there and that was great too, although the staff started setting up for breakfast while we were still eating which felt a little strange.
The hotel room was lovely-very clean and with a gorgeous view and a comfy bed. The only slight issue with it was the thin walls-we could hear people talking and watching TV in the room next to us very clearly.
The location was very good, with some lovely places to visit nearby such as Ramsbottom. We also managed to end up on the dance floor of a lovely couple celebrating their wedding there too..! All in all, it was a delightful stay and we would definitely return if we were in the North West again.

I can't say enough about how lovely this hotel is. My husband and I were married here in May 2013 and the staff on the day were nothing short of brilliant. The hotel is kept extremely clean and tidy and the staff are all friendly and helpful. Whilst booking and organising the wedding the hotel did change coordinators a couple of times but I could always speak to Warren, the manager, and he was always available and helpful and actually oversaw our day personally. The food is always excellent, we have eaten here on numerous occasions and we are always left feeling full and happy. It is situated on a main road but the hotel was formerly a farm that was converted so the location cannot be helped. With this in mind it is nestled at the foot of a hillside and my wedding pictures were beautiful. The hotel has plenty of parking and the rooms are all modern and clean. My husband and I have returned to the hotel for the last couple of years for our wedding anniversary and we have never been disappointed, the reception area has even been re decorated since. Out of other hotels in this area the Red Hall is without doubt the best.

Really nice hotel in a great location. Easy access to M66 etc. Friendly atmosphere and very clean and well maintained rooms.
Only minor downsides were the walls seemed quite thin as we could hear a child talking loudly in the room next door. Thought she was using our bathroom too, when she washed her hands!!
Hotel doors were locked when we got back at 11.50pm so be aware!!
Really friendly and helpful staff though and would definitely stop again. Very good value for money.
Tip: visit the Transport cafe across the road for an excellent breakfast and homemade lunch!! :-)

My Son got married at this hotel on 13th August. he day went perfectly, the venue was lovely, room was lovely. Service was very good and the wedding food was excellent. The only slight negative was probably the bar prices, little steep I thought but overall it was excellent.

Worked book this hotel for me. The price seemed very reasonable including breakfast under about £50. I wondered what it was going to be like but I was very impressed. The building is very modern. Reception and checking in was very efficient. The double room had a very comfortable bed and I have a great night's sleep. The wifi was about 5meg and worked fine - wireless throughout and free.

Breakfast was a treat. Continental buffet or hot food a la carte. I had one of the best full englishes I've had in a hotel, cooked to order. Service was great.

Plenty of secure parking. I've stayed in hotels that cost 10 times as much per night and been less impressed by the service and I really think I had one of the best value hotel nights ever. I think they should consider charging more as I think they are underselling themselves.

I will have no hesitation in staying again if I am in the area.
