We held our wedding at this venue in August 2019 and the service was absolutely outstanding. We met the wonderful Warren initially followed by professional Helen, and finally lively Ben on the actual day. He appeared as soon as we arrived with a glass of fizz and both Ben and Warren checked on us throughout the day. This team were the best, they listened, they never said ‘no’. They followed our instructions to the letter. Every person from the DJ, the chefs and catering staff carried out their role without error.

We also want to thank the extremely professional bar staff who even took two jugs of iced water to our room because the weather was so hot, again. I thing was too much trouble. There were no issues with bar service and glasses were always full.

The award winning chef deserved their title as the food was outstanding and buffet and canapés were delicious. We have since returned for two of the date nights and again the food was excellent!

It was a beautiful sunny day, and one of the reasons why we chose the hotel was the air conditioning in reception room. The room was beautifully decorated and we paid extra for the light curtain. There is also the extra seating areas outside where you can see Holcombe Hill at the front and the fields behind. The bridal suite was stunning too and breakfast the following morning was excellent!

Red Hall management you should be proud of your excellent, extremely professional team. They really are the best!

I stayed here as I was attending a wedding at the venue. I booked a newly refurbished contempo room.

The room was nicely appointed, clean and of a good size... imagine a premier inn room, it’s that kind of thing.

Breakfast and the waiting staff there were nice. The wedding venue bar staff were very efficient and the room was also nice.

The massive let downs for me are
1. Noise. I could hear everything going on in the neighbouring rooms (alarm ringing, for example) and certainly the noisy cleaning staff in the corridor. I was particularly outraged that the cleaning staff decided to try my door handle and knock on my door pre 9am when checkout isn’t until 11am (and I hadn’t yet been for breakfast, let alone checked out). Bang went my long awaited lie in. Shame also that when I complained reception’s answer was that she was “going to have a word”, to which my unanswered response was “its a bit late for that now”.

2. Price. Whilst clean and tidy it certainly isn’t worth the £118 charged for the room. I guess they know given their rural-ish location that if you don’t live locally and need to attend a wedding there you haven’t much choice and they choose to take advantage of this.

Anyway, if you need to stay it’s ok.

There are not enough words to describe how fantastic our wedding was here. From our initial meeting in 2017 until our wedding day 25.08.19 everything was perfect.

The staff are very organised and nothing is too much for them.Warren was great in the organization of the day and helped with all the extras we had added to our fairytale package.Megan always greeted us with a smile as we walked in, she gives a very welcoming smile everytime we would see her.She is always happy to chat to about our wedding plans and nothing was to much trouble for her.

Pepe & jo are great, very attentive and happy to help with anything you require.

The biggest thank you must go to Ben, he is every wedding couples dream. He works tirelessly to make your day perfect. From the running of the day to small simple things that you would normally miss on the day ( saving our champagne cork for a keepsake, providing drinks for my wife without even asking) small things like this you can miss when your caught up in the whirlwind of the day, but not ben.As most people getting married worry about how the day will run, ben took all that worry away from us.

Now this was the hottest bank holiday weekend of the year and it certainly was warm, but inside the rooms were nice and cool with air conditioning. The bar staff were very good at keeping the drinks and canapes flowing.

We were married in the peel suite upstairs, this was decorated exactly how we had planned and the decor & lighting suited it perfectly.
The holcombe suite downstairs was also decorated to our own personal choice. The room was perfect and the seating was great, not too far and not too close.

The food served for our wedding breakfast was excellent, not a single complaint from anyone. Very big portions and all served together, which at some weddings does not happen. Again this is praise to the staff.
Our night finished around 1am and we could not think of a single thing that was out of place or bad about our day.

We had an amazing breakfast in oscars the next morning, the staff all were smiling and happy to serve and take your orders.

I would highly recommend this venue to anyone considering a wedding venue, it was simply a perfect day thanks to all involved at the Red Hall.

Our closest friends got married here on the 20/07/19. As my husband was best man, we spent the Friday and Saturday at the hotel.
Are room was on the ground floor. A really nice room, but very hot with no air conditioning. We did try opening the window but as we were in the ground floor we could only do this whilst we were in the room. The shower was brilliant very powerful and the beds comfortable. Great that there was an iron and ironing board to. Breakfast spot on lots of choice.
We had drinks in the bar and ate there also, as the rain was so bad. There were 12 of us and I can honestly say Pepe was just absolutely fabulous. Very attentive, he looked after us all night, what a lovely charming waiter nothing was to much. The only thing I will say is they definitely need more staff serving behind the bar. One barman running between the wedding in the next room and we were told to shout him when we needed drinks. These people worked tirelessly all weekend.
The wedding day. Well again, everyone worked so hard and in harmony.
Warren the maitre d I take me hat off to you. He really is outstanding at what he does. He really never stopped all day. Even the little things, looking not just after the bride and groom, but also very supportive to my husband who was very nervous about doing his speech. Everything ran like clock work and to watch them all working together in harmony is such a pleasure. Carry on what you are all doing and thank you all so much for making the whole weekend very special indeed. We will be returning to stay when we come to see our newly married friends and we will certainly look forward to staying again.

I stay here once or twice a month every month, its always outstanding, service 100%, cleanliness 100%, restaurant 100%, Location 100%.
Only issue i have is i am put off staying during the hotter months of the year as the hotel has no fans in the rooms!, come on redhall invest in some fans for your loyal customers.

Visited the Red Hall as guests of a close friend celebrating her 70th birthday. First impressions were what a lovely part of Bury! The hotel staff are friendly and helpful, the bedroom and the rest of the hotel are spotless and nicely furnished and decorated.

The room in which we celebrated her birthday was perfect for the purpose and the food was of the highest quality and piping hot, which for over 40 people was a very pleasant surprise.

I understand that the have regular themed evenings and they are great value. Highly recommend!

Wouldn't pay extra for a bigger room, no difference apart from the tv is bigger. The 'garden view' is just grass at the back, no garden. Like the hotel but room upgrade is a waste of money.

Myself and my husband stayed here as we were attending a gig at Heaton Park. We were a bit clueless on the area and the best way to get to the gig. The lovely Jade at reception was so helpful and explained the best and quickest way to get there.
The hotel was lovely, clean and a good location. Couldn’t fault a thing. All the staff we came across were extremely friendly.

Red Hall Hotel is modern but not anonymous. Our rooms were interesting with the right amount of space and storage for a longer stay. The bath was an added benefit. Breakfast choices of fruit, cereal, cooked meats, yoghurt and so on were very good and our orders for English breakfast were taken with aplomb and humour by our Spanish waiter. Unfortunately the weather was very English.

Really nice hotel. Came for a relaxing night away and was perfect for what we wanted. Bed was comfy, room was spacious and the bathroom was really nice. I've been told it's a really loud and busy place most weekends as they have weddings on and stuff, so if I was to book again ide phone up first and see if anything is going on that night just to make sure. All in all we had a really nice relaxing night away and we will definitely be returning. Only downside I can think of is the breakfast, it's only continental breakfast delivered to your room, and a very limited choice. if they did a full English or more choice it would be great.

Ticks all the box’s - great value for money £50-£60 per night midweek.

Literally 1 min from motorway - 15 mins Bury, 30 mins centre Manchester and 5 mins to Ramsbottom

Taxi too Ramsbottom is £3 - (big hill not really walkable) reception have details, lots off good restaurants and bars in Rammy.

Hotel is in nice grounds and very large car park, outside seating area to enjoy a drink.

Room itself is a little dated but spotlessly clean - free WiFi worked great.

Nice bar area with Sky sports if requested, as with most hotels drinks are a little pricey - £5 a pint etc.

Breakfast was very good and cooked to order - great selection.

Found the staff friendly and professional, special mention for the excellent receptionist Megan.

Recommend if working in area

Want a great Sunday brunch, well decorated, great menu at reasonable prices. For a hotel restaurant just fabulous.

Service a little slow. But for a Sunday brunch, this did not matter.

Oscars would survive on it own as a good restaurant.

stay here regularly for work. Its very clean and the staff are exceptional. The food in the restaurant is also very good. Its pretty modern and the rooms are fairly spacious. The only downside is that i personally never find the beds or bedding very comfortable. To be fair, this could just be me, and all round this is great hotel and fantastic value for money.
