Niel Cope from People Matters Ltd. has done a lot of work for my employer, Eventura in order to ensure that HR policies and procedures are at the highest of standards. As a fairly new member of Eventura, Niel ensured that I had a clear job description and contract, ensuring that I was aware of my rights and responsibilities when starting at Eventura. He also created a great induction programme consisting of health and safety and time spent across departments to familiarise me with staff and internal procedures - this was highly beneficial as every organisation operates differently! Within the induction I received a copy of the staff handbook, containing the equality and diversity policy of the company which is readily available for all staff as and when required. A performance appraisal has also since been introduced which allows the management team to monitor staff progress and set targets - a great motivational factor for staff across departments! As Marketing Assistant, I was looking for ways in which Eventura could increase their company profile and client experience standards which lead me to look at qualifying for the IIP certificate. Since then, I have spoken to Niel numerous times regarding certification and he has always been happy to help in answering my questions and registering Eventura for the certification. Niel from People Matters also provided me with advice on how to deal with a dispute with a previous employer - advice and guidance that was much appreciated. In short, Niel at People Matters is highly experienced and offers remarkable advice in order to ensure that HR is of the highest standard at your organisation. Plus he is a great guy, easy to talk to and extremely good at his job! Thanks for all of your help Niel!
