Jungle Marathon completed for local charities

On October 6th Craig Jarvis, owner of Ravenwood Hotel and the Black Lion Hotel, went off to take part in another challenge to raise money for the Ravenwood Children’s Trust to include EACH ,East Anglia Children’s Hospice and The St Nicolas Hospice in Bury St Edmunds. Both are inspirational charities who help children, Adults and their families when they most need it.
The jungle marathon is regarded as the toughest of the tough. The Amazon Rainforest presents unique challenges found in few other environments.
Following on from the Marathon Des Sable last year, we imagine the Amazon will be a world away from his run in the Sahara. The Jungle Marathon attracts few competitors and has even fewer finishers!
The self sufficient runners will take one week, carrying their own food and equipment through primary Amazon jungle in Brazil with 100 % humidity and temperatures in excess of 40 degrees, through swamps, rivers and the most hostile environment in the world .This 222km challenge is the most difficult he has attempted so PLEASE DIG DEEP AND SUPPORT 2 GREAT Charities.

Anyone kind enough to support him in this please follow the link for

EACH at www.justgiving.com/craigjarvis
