Retailers  Share A Passion for Fashion

A red carpet entrance and champagne and canapé reception welcomed over  500 women and a handful of fashion conscious men to the Apex in Bury last night.

The event was Fashion Fusion, an opportunity for some of the best local fashion retailers to showcase this seasons’ latest looks and to raise money for the St Nicholas Hospice. And we are proud that so many are our customers on the Best of BSE Directory.

Highlights included some fabulous festival gear from Javelin, stunning bikinis and models from  Cabana and body-con tube dresses with wacky Woolford tights to complement shoes from Scarlet. Whilst a few chose to play safe with daywear,   Nicola Sexton dressed her models in black bin bags to draw attention to her stunning shoes and accessory collection and the Bella Lingerie model confidently strutted her stuff in a fabulous  red and black lace basque.

However, the male models completely stole the show looking sharp in classy Regatta blazers and suits from Trotter and Dean and on trend in funky casual wear from Six Whiting Street.

Support from other local businesses in supplying refreshments helped to make the sell-out event a well organised  success and everyone was sent home with goody bags and discount vouchers to use on items that caught their eye during the evening.
