I recently came across an item on Madeleine Moon's website which I hope will inspire Bridgend people to share everything that is positive about life in Bridgend.
Entitled 'Proud of Bridgend' she tackles the negative media attention which has descended on Bridgend in a sensitive way and calls on the people of Bridgend to celebrate all that is best about Bridgend through positive images of the County Borough.
"I am proud to live in the Bridgend Constituency and I am proud to represent our community in Parliament. It is a part of the country with beautiful scenery, good schools, good public services and a vibrant voluntary sector. I want to show the villages and towns that make up this constituency in a positive light and I would like you to help me do this.
