Have you ever thought about volunteering? On Thursday 7 June and Friday 8 June, as part of national Volunteer’s Week, BAVO (Bridgend Association of Voluntary Organisations) is holding outdoor volunteer information days in Bridgend town centre from 10am – 3pm, providing information on all aspects of volunteering, matching your skills and interests with a vacancy that best suits you!

Volunteers’ Week is a national event which celebrates the fantastic contribution that millions of volunteers make across the UK and plays a huge part in raising the profile of the millions of volunteers who regularly contribute to their local community, inspiring others to get involved too.

BAVO has over 300 registered voluntary organisations offering a wide range of opportunities for all ages and abilities. Make a trip to Bridgend town centre to find out how to boost your confidence, improve your chances of getting a job, meet new people and learn new skills by taking up the wide variety of volunteer opportunities available in Bridgend County Borough.

During the information days, there will also be many stalls from local charity and voluntary organisations.

For further details, call 01656 810400 or visit www.bavo.org.uk
