Bridgend's Christmas Market
I notice that Bridgend's Christmas street market is a bit later this year. I just had a look at Bridgend Festivals website to check the date and can see that it is scheduled for 11th-19th December in Caroline Street and Wyndham Street.
I hope it is well supported as events like these bring a good vibe to the streets of Bridgend. Shame we can't have a weekly market but I understand that the pedestrianisation of Bridgend town centre has made this impossible. Council regulations mean that stall holders have to come in early and stay until the shops are shut and that's not the way that traders such as farmer's markets like to operate. Surely there must be a way around this?
