How to Work Safely with VDUs
Before my next blog on shortcuts and hints and tips for Microsoft Office products, I feel that it is important to focus on How to Work Safely With VDUs.
As we are all using computers more than we used to, I would recommend that you read the Health and Safety Executive Working with VDUs Booklet there is a lot of advice and guidance in the booklet for using computers and VDUs safely.
You can access this by copying the link below into your web browser.

This booklet includes a summary of the law on VDU work (the Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992), and outlines what employers and employees should do to comply.
On Page 4 of the booklet, there is a section on 'I am self-employed - am I covered'?
It is very easy for us to carry on working with VDUs, not taking into account how to use them safely. To avoid Repetitive Strain Injury, eyestrain and other health problems, please take the time to read this booklet.
Best wishes
