Lovely clean friendly hotel
Although I was given a very spacious double room, the mattress was very uncomfortable as it was two single beds pushed together....didn't expect this to be the case in this standard of hotel? The spa on the otherhand was great and i would definitely look to revisit when either on business or seeing friends in the area.
As above - also the pub onsite was very limited to draught beers.

I really like the gym at Bolton , it’s very affordable and well equipped for the money , it’s clean and very big . I also like there’s duplicates of some machines as at busy times that’s very useful.There’s two floors with mat areas so you can always find a spot to do your mat work .
The staff are really excellent and friendly and will chat to you and give you advice ,
Gym members are generally polite and respectful to one another ,no matter what age , shape or size , that’s great .
It does get very busy in the evening but that’s because it’s popular, I go in the daytime when it’s fine.
The only criticisms I have is that the music is not very vigorous , , I would prefer some more motivational tunes but it’s no big deal .
Also the door opening on the App doesn’t open the door for me , I re installed it but no improvement, now I memorised my pin it’s no big deal either .

convenience - attending party at wanderers suite
not being able to access the wanderers suite internally - had 94 year old with us and was quite a walk. had wrongly assumed was all the same premises - or interlinked. also disappointed about breakfast restrictions. the online menus suggested individual items could be ordered so we could just have tea and toast but on entry was advised it was full buffet at £12 only so went without. none of us have appetite to warrant that amount of spend.
