Just been for a Spring Conference. The staff first & foremost really friendly & helpful, the hotel bar & restaurant great, the breakfast great & Conference room was terrific. My room was wonderful, big & with black out curtains a wonderful nights sleep.
Being a Wigan fan I should have disliked it, but not one part.
I'll do my best to encourage Conference returns here, proper chuffed.

Good location and nice hotel, the room are a little dated and the gym is very small.
The room was clean and tidy and very good price. The breakfast smelled good but did have it and very spacious dining area.

A little disappointed at the standard of the penthouse suite. We got more from our previous stays which were in the standard rooms. Other than the size of the room being slightly larger than the others, the penthouse suite facilities were very much the same. House keeping standards were also poor considering this was meant to be one of the lush rooms.

Really excellent experience and the football match was good too. Shops are very nearby and plenty of restaurants but we ate in and the food was quality.
All staff well trained and were in good spirits

Allocated room 616 arrival, on the fifth floor overlooking the car park, outside the hotel entrance.

I arrived at 3pm so there was plenty of parking spaces available and the reception were very efficient with booking in.

The room size was adequate but may be on the small side if two people occupy the room, only one easy chair in the room. The hotel room was very quiet as was the corridor outside.

As I was attending a football match I did not have an evening meal. The breakfast was the usual items both hot and cold. It was what I expected and at around 8am it was not crowded.

If there is a football match on the day you intend to stay, you need to book early as all rooms are generally sold in the week(s) leading up to the match. The bar before and after the game was fine, no long queues for drinks.

As I had an all in package for the hotel, football match and hospitality it is difficult to judge the cost of bed and breakfast, It must have been about £55 which is very good value for money.

I would stay here again even if not attending a football match.
