My husband & myself stayed two nights in this hotel, First room we were offered had no window which i thought might be a bit claustraphobic,I brought this to the attention of reception staff who immediatly moved us to the amazing room overlooking the stadium..which we loved!!!!The breakfast was very good also room very clean..The staff were great, especially girls on reception, really friendly...The glass lift was also good.My husband would have liked a flat screen tv in room.... we enjoyed our trip to Trafford Centre .We will definatly use this hotel again. 22/10/12

What a pleasure to stay at this hotel, four star hotel with ten star quality. The staff were some of the friendliest and most efficient i have met, they really did go the extra mile to make you feel welcome and more lik a friends than a guest.

Booked this hotel last min as working in Bolton. Looked good on Internet but even better when I saw it for myself! Lovely place to stay. Asked for a quiet room as there just for work& couldn't believe it when I got a room which looked straight onto the stadium football pitch( no one playing at time I may add) but didn't expect the view as my window was from wall to wall . Room large & comfy. Only thing I can really fault was the tv was old& not flat screen. But that didn't really bother me so just being picky as room was very good . Reception staff very accommodating. Will certainly use this hotel again.

We had the opportunity to stay at the De Vere Whites hotel while our son attended a soccer competition. The hotel was booked to capacity between participants and regular guests. There was also a game that weekend. The hotel is built right into Reebok Stadium, the home of the Bolton Wanderers. The staff were simply amazing. They went out of their way to make sure the guests were accommodated and they couldn't have been any nicer. We were always greeted with a smile. I have stayed in other hotels that were at full capacity, and it was obvious. Not so here. The room was marvelous as well. We were given penthouse suite which has a separate bedroom adjacent to a living room area with a sleeper sofa which our boys used. The bathroom was spacious and there was even a towel warmer! We never had the chance to use the Spa facilities. The hotel is also within an easy walk of shopping. There is also a delightful breakfast served every morning. We will stay here again if we have the opportunity.

I have always booked hotels based on Trip Advisor ratings however following a recent stay in Egypt which certainly did not live up to it's Trip Advisor rating I was a little concerned relying on it this time. I couldn't fault this hotel, staff were most helpful and friendly, the breakfast had everything you could want and it was all fresh and warm. The bedroom and bathroom were spotless and very good condition considering the hotel is not new. The location is brilliant, loads of choices for meals within walking distance. We took the train into Manchester for less than £4 pp return, the station is only a 5 minute walk from hotel. Our first stay in a De Vere hotel and it certainly won't be our last

The hotel is integrated in the Reebok stadium, easy to find and plenty parking. Reception is friendly and check-in quick. They respected my request for a quiet room.
Rooms are quite spacious, have a chair and the bathroom is functional.
There's a bar and a large lounge area. All drinks need to be ordered at the bar and payed directly. The restaurant has booths overlooking the stadium. Staff is extremely friendly and helpfull. The food is well cooked and on the winelist every one can find something.
Buffet breakfast was good.

First thing I noticed was the very large room. The hospitality tray was spot on. The room was clean but some very minor things let it down. We stayed in room 104, the picture frame has what looks to be tin foil around it and its coming part quite badly. The bed isnt the comfiest. Its 2 x single beds put together and i found myself falling between the two! My backs a bit sore this morning.
However the staff are excellent, the lady on the reception was very helpful and friendly as were the staff who made our lovely hot chocolates before bed. I will be staying again.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel because of a deal they had sent us. The hotel was in an excellent position for either watching Bolton play football or for wandering around the middlebrook shopping centre. Our room was very comfortable and the breakfast was very varied with a lot of choice. If any more deals come our way we would not hesitate to go back to this hotel for maybe more than one night. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The pool and jaccuzzi were very clean and not busy either.

Stayed here a few times when De Vere have there special offers on rooms. A night away in a nice hotel for £19 room only is very good. Clean hotel with friendly helpful staff. Rooms are nice and beds comfortable. Small swimming pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room. Good shopping development behind with plenty of places to eat and a large Vue cinema. Not too far away from Manchester and if you like football you'll love the restaurant with it's view over the pitch!!

I stayed here for one night and have stayed here before.

This is an imposing building which forms part of the Reebok stadium. Some of the rooms overlook the pitch, as does the restaurant. Eating in the restaurant was an odd experience. The food was, perhaps, slightly better than a Toby Carvery, but only just. The service seemed hurried. As the restaurant was nowhere near capacity, this seemed unnecessary.

The place is just beginning to look a little worn at the edges now. The bar prices are, as one would expect, on the hefty side. Most of the guests here during the week are not paying out of their own pocket though. The bar was sticky and need wiping.

Breakfast is buffet style and the range of food on offer is OK, but could only be described as 'warm'. The glass I used for my orange juice was stuck to the surface, which tells me that cleanliness was not thorough.

The rooms are a good size and the beds are comfortable. The shower blasts hot water properly and the towels were a good size and fresh. My only gripe here is that a cathode ray television sits where a flat screen should be. It is nearly 2013!.

By and large then, this hotel is adequate. Nothing to write home about, but if all you want is a meal and a bed for the night, it will do.
