Very pleased with the new kitchen window George fitted for me today. Very professional from the start. Was quick to come round and give me a quote. Efficient clean and tidy Very careful not to damage any surrounding tiles. All in all an excellent job and would definitely recommend.

Not the best
The staff were very helpful
The room had not been cleaned for a while, there was a LOT of dust and a packet of half eaten pistachios in a drawer (good job there are no serious nut allergies). I made reception aware and they apologised, cleaned the room and gave us a £20 voucher. I booked this as a family stay for our daughters birthday yet our rooms were not close together. The pool water was very cold and although you have to book sessions for the pool and sauna (limited to 50 minutes for each), there were so many people that we didn't get to try out all of the facilities. The food was also not the best and we waited almost 40 minutes for our order to be taken when it wasn't exactly busy. We booked our table for 8 and by the time the food was ordered and given to us, it was almost 10pm when we left the restaurant. I won't be going again and would not recommend a stay here.

Gorgeous relaxing hotel in good location
- lovely location near local and national parks etc. - great decor and light spaces - spa facilities were good - great food in both the pub and the main restaurant - friendly staff
- room was cleaned sporadically over duration of our stay and hot drink station/cups not replaced - freeview TV channels only (not a major problem!)

We have been to Evie's place on a number of occasions with little Gordon, our Cockapoo, and have been extremely pleased with the service and the advice that Dawn has given us. Gordon is very comfortable in her presence and we're happy to leave him in her very capable hands.
