Not the best
The staff were very helpful
The room had not been cleaned for a while, there was a LOT of dust and a packet of half eaten pistachios in a drawer (good job there are no serious nut allergies). I made reception aware and they apologised, cleaned the room and gave us a £20 voucher. I booked this as a family stay for our daughters birthday yet our rooms were not close together. The pool water was very cold and although you have to book sessions for the pool and sauna (limited to 50 minutes for each), there were so many people that we didn't get to try out all of the facilities. The food was also not the best and we waited almost 40 minutes for our order to be taken when it wasn't exactly busy. We booked our table for 8 and by the time the food was ordered and given to us, it was almost 10pm when we left the restaurant. I won't be going again and would not recommend a stay here.

Gorgeous relaxing hotel in good location
- lovely location near local and national parks etc. - great decor and light spaces - spa facilities were good - great food in both the pub and the main restaurant - friendly staff
- room was cleaned sporadically over duration of our stay and hot drink station/cups not replaced - freeview TV channels only (not a major problem!)

Comfy and friendly, lots of food options very close by
Breakfast was nice and lots of option. room was spacious and comfy bed, great having a bath also. bar and food was good and convenient. if you want any deferent options there are loads of restaurants and shops right behind the stadium
no gym or Pool if wanted. personally not an issue for me. can be confusing finding room for the first time
