Room was nice. Bed comfortable. Quiet. Good night sleep. Staff on reception very polite, friendly and helpful. Food provided during event also at stadium very tasty and plenty of it.
Bathroom decor a little dated. Lighting to do makeup not very good. Carpet was a little dirty (crumbs and hairy).

Fantastic! Watched the Jeeves and Wooster production and it was simply brilliant. Laugh out loud funny. The set was amazing, superb acting especially as there were only 3 actors!

Overall, we enjoyed our night away. The customer service is what made the stay to be honest. For the nightly price we paid, I expected a better standard of hotel room. It was perfectly acceptable and was clean, but the room was tired and in need of a lick of paint, new carpets etc.
Same with the spa area, we enjoyed using the facilities but it hasnt had a facelift since the last time I visited 10 years ago.
That being said, if you need a hotel in this area, this is definitely the best option and there are lots of lovely walks around. Bromley Cross and Egerton are the nearest villages and there are plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops to choose from, so as long as you don't go expecting a modern 4-star hotel, you won't be disappointed!
