Enjoyable and comfortable stay.
Our room was dog friendly, spacious, well equipped and exceptionally clean. The bed was huge and very comfortable with crisp white linen. The room was warm with good heating control. Would definitely stay again.
Had brunch in the Courtyard. It was a basic full English but was tepid with very cold tinned mushrooms. Probably won't go back for brunch in the future.

Not the best
The staff were very helpful
The room had not been cleaned for a while, there was a LOT of dust and a packet of half eaten pistachios in a drawer (good job there are no serious nut allergies). I made reception aware and they apologised, cleaned the room and gave us a £20 voucher. I booked this as a family stay for our daughters birthday yet our rooms were not close together. The pool water was very cold and although you have to book sessions for the pool and sauna (limited to 50 minutes for each), there were so many people that we didn't get to try out all of the facilities. The food was also not the best and we waited almost 40 minutes for our order to be taken when it wasn't exactly busy. We booked our table for 8 and by the time the food was ordered and given to us, it was almost 10pm when we left the restaurant. I won't be going again and would not recommend a stay here.
