Room was clean, bed comfy, bathroom spotless. Bar prices are a bit high, but that's norm at hotels, I guess. All staff I've met is absolutely brilliant, very kind, polite and helpful.

Very good staff and very clean. Good quite location away from the main town. Food for a chain good and again for a chain reasonably priced. The negatives are the rooms especially the bathroom are dated.

Xmas day lunch with family. A lovely afternoon. A very mixed age range, and a visit from Santa.
Food ok however the main course was only lukewarm .needed to be hotter. The atmosphere was a little lacking. Some festive music playing would have solved this hence only 3 stars .

First off the staff are brilliant nothing too much trouble. Rooms a little bit dated but are very clean would be very happy to stay here again the breakfast is excellent value and plenty of choice, plus you have lots of facilities that you can take advantage of.

A little tired and rooms a little dated but perfectly servicable. Shame the same cannot be said for the food. Went to order a basic burger and had to stop the server adding blue cheese sauce - who wants blue cheese sauce on a burger?
Abominable double cooked chips were heavy and greasy. I guess they are called double cooked because they are part cooked and allowed to cool before being reheated - last time I shall be having those.
WiFi worked well, plenty of hot water and adequate parking.

Would give them 10 stars if I could, service was too good, they even decorated the bed for me, and offered to carry a mini heater all the up stairs for me to my room cos I was cold at 4am, and let me sleep extra time after check out cos I was tired and did not rush me, has a nice secure car park too, indoor swimming pool n jacuzzi awesome!

My friend and I stayed here as part of a mini break so we had no choice. Having said that I could not find a fault anywhere. Comfortable rooms, friendly helpful staff and lovely food especially considering they were catering 'en masse'. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to stay there again.

Rooms could do with being modernised but on the whole clean and tidy. Evening meal and breakfast were lovely with plenty of choice. In the main hotel bar the choice of cocktail was very limited which was a bit disappointing but did not spoil our stay.
