Most of the staff were lovely in the Spa, bar, restaurant and hotel. A small number of staff need to update their training as well as current knowledge of offers, prices and times.
You may have teething problems with your new payment procedures but it does not reflect well on yourselves when one cannot pay the bill in advance nor credit costs to the room.
When we received the bill, it was not itemised into prices for bed, breakfast and evening meal, pamper items, drinks etc. So it was difficult to check what we had paid for.
Sunday morning breakfast was not organised very well at all. There were less staff on duty and waiting for coffees and teas took so long. Self service with the cooked items was not as good as Saturday mornings where you ordered foods required via the catering staff and cooked in the kitchen. There wasn't all the items on the list (poached eggs nor veggie sausages). Two of us had eaten the rest of the breakfast by the time these items had arrived.
One of the two rooms we had, needed the ceiling painted to hide the water stains.
The Last Drop Village has so much to offer that these minor problems spoil the overall lovely weekend we all had.

Last Drop Village is a great place for a relaxing get away. The rooms are lovely, large and in a great setting. The pool and spa area is great, I love chilling out in the warm water while watching it snow or looking at the stars . The Bar area and restaurant have friendly helpful staff.

Stayed here for a wedding between Christmas and New year. Had a fantastic time. Only down side was the bizarre way you get locked out of the buildings after checkout times. We had to walk all the way round thd outside of the hotel in the snow. Maybe they should think about covering those walkways with glass. I understand why they do it bit not good especially with young kids in tow. That said would stay here again but would be more prepared 😁

Had a fantastic time. The facilities are good (not the best I have been too but good). The hydropool over looks a bit of the car park before the rolling hills but it's no ones fault just a surprise as the photos don't show this (good advertising). Perhaps stop cars parking right underneath and grass that area would be better. They have entry of car parking spaces. The place is spotless andI mean spotless. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Nothing seemed too much trouble for anyone.
The whole 'village' feel is quaint and the lights at night just add to the charm.
We did a version of their advertised walking routes and aside from not very clear directions (hence a version) it was beautiful.
The room was gorgeous and spacious if a little far from reception. Which was not an issue except there was a door right next to our room to the outside that we could not use so had to walk all the way around everytime we wanted to go near reception.
Thank you for making a much needed break a great one x

This is an excellent venue for a wedding set in nice grounds built around the original Last Drop Village setting with cobblestones, fountain and well.
The rooms are very reasonably priced especially when the full English breakfast is included.
The Spa facilities are also very good with modern facilities.

Booked a spa day for a friends birthday. We got 2 treatments, the first being a back massage which was lovely & relaxing& definitely recommended. We then booked the manicure & polish which I was very disappointed with. It was done while we still lay on the bed after the back massage. There wasnt enough time for each layer to try properly so it got smudged as soon as we went to put our dressing gowns back on as we then felt rushed to leave the room as others were waiting to go in. I feel this part would have been much better if we had been sitting at one of the nail stations,
Lunch was lovely despite being served in a box but we had to ask for a cup of tea or coffee after. The coffee machine in the lounge area wasn't working & we were then told the coffee machine in the eating area wasn't working either s only basic tea or coffee available so quite disappointing.
Also there were children in the swimming sauna area which was not as relaxing as expected.
I don't feel it was worth the £69 each we paid for it

Nice little independent shops, ie. clothes, bakers, gifts etc. However, pubs scruffy and dated and feels cold, both in atmosphere and temperature. May look better at night when you can't see it properly. Disappointed in how they've let it go. Lots of building work going on up the main drive, don't know what they're building but think that it'll take away the kirb appeal, shame as it was such a nice place.

If the staff were friendly I would of rated 5 stars. However the staff were extremely rude in the breakfast room and took 15 minutes to take our order and when we went to check out the young girl on the desk was very short with no eye contact. A shame as the rooms and facilities are great

Visited the tea room for my Grandma's birthday with a party of 4. Ample parking along with a nice setting and exterior contrasted with a very uninspiring interior. Pleasant enough staff and a good selection of food; the sandwiches and scones were tasty but expensive for what they were, with the tea and coffee unfortunately falling short of the mark.

Lovely hotel with really nice facilities. Food is priced high which is fine if it's good...it wasn't. Sent first order back which was pie of the day. The meat had seen better days. It was very fatty and hard to cut. I'll try another dish and if it's not up to scratch I'll be eating elsewhere for the rest of my stay.
