I came here for a work conference but stayed a few days longer to explore the area.
The staff in the hotel were so lovely and friendly. Especially the lady who was serving at breakfast, Lydia, was excellent!

Hotel would benefit from refurbishment. The bedrooms need to be updated but they are comfortable and very clean. Signage to hotel off the main road poor; drove past entrance on two occasions. Staff friendly, helpful and thoughtful making the stay very pleasant. Great location for motorway access, places to eat nearby and exploring the north west.

We stayed at Mercury Georgian House on a 2 night bed & breakfast plus 1 dinner, 18/6/24 - 20/06/2024. We had a problem with part of our meal on our first night, and Ramzan Duty Manager quickly resolved our meal problem and didn’t charge us. Also would like to mention Claire on Reception the night we arrived, as she was able to quickly resolve a problem with printing out new boarding passes for our return flight. Please arrange to thank them for us. We would like to give you a A+ for customer service.

Spent the night with my girlfriend, spa was lovely, such a shame that the owners sold off the surrounding fields to housing because it has ruined the view from the jacuzzi.
In the bar is where the real service started though. Ollie was a super star, extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Great banter and a good lad to have a chat with. We met joe in the restaurant bar originally but later saw him covering in the village pub, later he was back in the bar In the restaurant. Everytime he was a pleasure to talk to, very friendly and very informative of the local area. These two guys made our stay here a real treat.
Shame about the view from the spa though.

This is my 5th or 6rh time staying here and I must say that you are always made to feel welcome at this hotel. Great benefit of the lift in the front part of the hotel now installed, last time had to struggle up 2 flights of stairs with luggage. Shelia in reception always seems to be on duty and both her and Lynda in the breakfast restaurant were always attentive and very pleasant. Will look forward to staying there again. Close to Hörwick Parkway railway station with free parking, makes travelling to Blackpool or Manchester a pleasant and enjoyable experience.
