I first used ADK Law in April 2023 to buy/sell a leasehold property and again recently, December 2024, to process buying a first property for my son.
In 2023 Lucy Rodrigues was excellent and made the whole experience trouble free up until day of exchange contracts when unfortunately the chain collapsed due to the forward chain vendor changing his mind.
Lucy did everything possible to advise potential options for us going forward but unfortunately our buyer then decided to pull out of the chain and the sale never went ahead.
Despite no 'final conclusion', through no fault of Lucy and ADK Law, they had completed all works, searches, lease review etc possible in very quick time .
Recently (Dec 2024) used ADK again when my son bought his first home (a leasehold property).
Lorna Speakman was lead conveyancer and did a brilliant job.
Completed the whole process (from initial appoinment to exchange contracts) within 8 weeks.
Her communication was exemplary answering all queries straight away, regularly advising on progress, and informing us on any cause of minor delays (eg: awaiting replies for vendors solicitor)
Lorna's professionalism made the whole process as stress free as possible.
I would highly recommend both Lorna and ADK Law and will no doubt use them again when we do eventually try selling our own property again next year.

The hotel is situated in a built up area, surrounded by housing but in a central location and easy to find.
Somewhat limited parking, with a small wall that runs through the middle of the car park causing confusion as to where is okay to park.
The Hotel has two seperate bars, a lounge area, three separate dining areas with two differnt menus, and a mock village around it that provides different services such as hairdressers etc.
My hotel bedroom was dated and in need of a revamp, but clean and tidy with all the basic necessities.
The food at the bar was average, mainly microwaved meals and the menu was a bit dull with the same old pub options.
The staff however, were amazing, very friendly, polite, and provided a great service.
The Spa is a great addition, and the main reason I chose to stay here. It just needs a few little tweeks to make it great, such as putting a switch/timer on the Jacuzzi, update the changing rooms as some lockers are broke, the clothing hooks on the seating bench are broke, along with some of the shower heads. The "infinity pool" overlooks the carpark, which in turn is overlooked by the local housing estate, not very scenic - A screen or hedge could be erected to improve the aesthetic. Also, I think an ice room would make a great addition to the Spa.

Graham was the best driving instructor I could have asked for! I’ve been driving for years in Brazil, and the change to driving on the other side of the car and road was a little bit uncomfortable at first. However, Graham relaxed style of tutoring made me feel at easy and each lesson I got a little bit of my confidence back. Without Graham’s help and knowledge I wouldn’t have passed on my first try.

We had our xmas do here at this hotel and I stayed the night. Rooms was very clean and a lovely big room and bathroom. Never did bfst but looked amazing on the photos. Would stay here again if we had another event or Xmas do. Great place to have a event.
