Despite living in Bolton all my life I have never been to Olympus grill.A wet and windy Saturday 1.30 and wondering where to go for lunch my wife suggested Olympus for fish and chips.A portion of fish and chips with bread and butter and pot of tea,it was delicious non greasy lovely white cod and a pot of tea to brew to your liking and chunky chips with bread and butter ( you can guess what happened there) .The staff couldn't have been more helpful and in all a great lunch treat.If you have not been MAKE TIME and go to the Olympus grill..

Appetite might lessen with age, so smaller portions for pensioners may make sense, but we are not obliged to order the small fry. Fish and chips at Olympus are tasty and healthy so I order the full price meal every time, and I always clear the plate. Perfectly fried and served by pleasant staff, this is top of the tree eating, whether it's fish, puddings, or other meals. I've tried the others, but for me fish is king here. A couple of rounds of bread and a big pot of tea, very reasonably priced, makes this my favourite stop when I shop in town.

The 'Olympus' is something of a Bolton institution, so I'm told. But it's a damn fine fish and chip shop as well. Friendly, helpful staff offering excellent service, and good value food, too - the price includes your fish, chips, mushy peas, bread and butter and a pot of tea. All food cooked to order so it's guaranteed to be nice and fresh. Also, its a stone's throw from the 'Octagon', which makes it perfect for theatre goers. Had lunch there today and was impressed - maybe not up to the stratospheric standards of my favourite chippies in Yorkshire, but still very, very good.

Never been before very welcoming on arrival tables ready for our party good choice of menu smaller meals for lighter appetites staff attentive food okay and good value pianist in the background a nice touch nothing special but I would go back

A very popular fish and chip cafe with adjoining shop for takeaways. Staff are helpful and friendly and the food is always good, especially the fish and chips, although the fish are small so value for money is not the best.
