The room was large and very comfortable, as was the bed. The en suite shower was very good. The layout and location of the hotel are excellent. The village area is a lovely place to wander and sit and enjoy either coffee or a drink.
Breakfast on the first morning of our stay was not as good as that on the second morning. The food had obviously been lying out being kept hot for some time.
We should have asked for a ground floor room as the stairs up to our bedroom were very steep

A lovely location. Room had everything we needed for a short stay. Several options for eating and our evening meal, at the Drop Inn, was tasty and plentiful.
Some customer service was perfunctory but on the whole, for the price and the location, it was good value.
