A great stay
The staff were all lovely. I was able to book in early so I could get my bags in before the match. The restaurant didn't serve the full menu on a match day but there is a good range of bar meals. The room was spacious and comfortable and everything was clean and fresh.
It was excellent. There wasn't anything I didn't like.

Thanks to a generous upgrade of room stay was satisfactory
the original choice of room I was given. Also the hotel is beginning to look tired a distinct lack of investment, At present the staff are making the experience better than it deserves.

Will return again, but not for as long
Have stayed many times over the years, so know the hotel well & like it & the location. Food in the restaurant was good & the staff are pleasant & Helpful.
Our room was as we remembered, however, not as clean as previous visits. Very noisy over two nights, due to a noisy wedding party & other celebrations. Also smoke alarms going off at 1.30 in the morning, due to, we believe, someone smoking. Whilst this wasn't the hotel's fault, an apology or at least 'has your stay been ok', would have been appreciated.

Attached to the football ground was a fantastic bonus as we hadn't realised we would be able to see it. Staff were so efficient, helpful and friendly
