Had a two night stay as attending a wedding in the area. All the staff we had any dealings with were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean, good selection of food at breakfast. Can also recommend the hairdressers in the reception area - Jiggi's. Four of us had our hair styled on the morning of the wedding and all of us were very pleased. The hotel is well situated for the motorway and very close to shops and restaurants.

Both the hotel and the rooms spotless and spacious. Overall finish to a v high standard. Comfortable bed and room was v quiet

Staff do what many elsewhere don't these days....they smile and act courteously.

Perfect road access for anywhere in the N West. Couldn't find any fault

Will definitely use as my future base for trips to the North West

Honest but fair, overall acceptable stay. Still not sorted toast machine after staying here a few months ago, creaking noise in early morning from rooms above, annoying. But generally a lovely stay in quality hotel. Just need to fix a few things to command an overall excellent rating.

Excellent hotel, well set up for the needs of competitors & their friends & relatives. Nothing was too much trouble, especially in the restaurant where they appreciated the food requirements for the athletes.
Rooms were pleasantly decorated. Everything was provided & it all worked!

Friendly staff. Clean rooms and good food. The televisions were small for size of room and not overly easy to use (Probably my age) which was a bit of a down score for me. Restaurant food was very good and actually extremely good value, inexpensive. A good menu which will provide something for everyone.

The pool area is in a poor state with tiles missing around and in both the pool and jacuzzi, I found this out when I cut the sole of my foot. The area isn't kept clean, there was food and tissues on the floor, even after a member of staff had been through twice.
The treatment room for my wife's massage hadn't been cleaned from the day before, the towels were still damp with oil, the lights left on and no music. the masseuse used an extremely dated technique and didn't pay attention after asking if there was any particular area to concentrate on. The experience was so poor that the facial was cancelled. So much for a relaxing treat before a long day!
The staff in the bar area are extremely attentive and provide excellent customer service with a smile.

The rooms for venue hire are great for any football fans. The room we hired was big and overlooked the pitch. We were allowed to open the doors and sit in the stands. The hotel family rooms were great, very spacious and had a separate room from the children for privacy.

Stayed here for a night, in one of the rooms with a view to the inside of the stadium. If you are a football lover like I am, this is one of the coolest hotel views you could get!

The silence of an empty stadium, takes some adjusting, but awesome nonetheless.

Food is good standard, the room had a dated view, but entertaining to imagine how they get it all ready for matching days! Bar TVs are a too small for a hotel inside a stadium! Not the size you hope for, when Portugal is playing Wales in the European Semis (proud Portuguese here)!

All in all, great experience. Give it a 4 rating, mainly because of the TVs in the bar.

Great place to stay, clean, and very comfortable. The hotel had a large party of Nigerian youths staying, they were all very well behaved and the staff went out of their way to make them feel welcome. Best nights sleet I have had in a hotel for a long time. Will certainly use again. Well done
