great hotel, great rooms and friendly and helpful staff.
there was a football tournament taking place next day so at times it was a bit noisy but no real problem and did not affect my stay.
would definitely stay here again.

Warm welcome by staff. Room could do with a little update. Picture frames on wall art in room peeling.
Pillows very hard
Bed comfortable
Only 1 measure of Baileys left in bar.Whoever does the stocktaking seriously slipped up as there were many guests asking for Baileys on our return from the wedding reception
Breakfast very good.Lots of choice. Pity the coffee maker for cappachino and latees was broken.
Good value for an overnight stay

Pleasant stay overall. A couple of issues with coffee machine not working. Certain popular alcoholic drinks not available at night time. ( Stock control !! )
Not the most comfortable bed or pillows.
You had to close the wardrobe door to open the tea/coffee drinks drawer.
The wedding party had breakfast together in a room off the breakfast room. This was a positive thing that the management offered due to some booking issues.
We would stay here again.

Extraordinary Hotel integrated in a stadium with good service, good breakfast, good sleeping, room size ok, shopping possibilities nearby. Special rooms offer a phantastic view directly into the stadium.

Stayed here on business in May, having stayed here before 6 years ago when it was a De Vere. Hotel just the same and the bedrooms overlooking the pitch make for an interesting view in the morning. The only downside is that you are aware that the beds fold up during a match and the room turns into a box for devotees of Bolton Wanderers. This is not to my taste as you can imagine how many pie eating backsides have sat on the chairs, used the loo and generally used the bedroom and the beds are not that comfy. Mine had a dip in the middle (not pleasant) and just didn't seem as clean as I would like. However, the restaurant and in particular the manager was superb. What an amazing guy, totally devoted to his craft and making sure that all his customers got the very best service. We were going to eat out as we get fed up with less than mediocre food that abounds in the UK hotel industry but not here. Whites make such an effort with their menu and the standard of cooking is amazing for a hotel. I would go there just to eat and I am really fussy. The scallops were superb, as good as any I have eaten in London restaurants. I have to have gluten and dairy free (not easy for any chef on a budget) but nothing was too much trouble and the food was just so good. The manager was attentive but didn't overdo it, he was the best maitre d' I have come across in this country and that includes Michelin restaurants. If you have to stay in this less than salubrious area stay at Whites, even if you hate football it is quite civilised.

Travelled from Kent for business. Room very comfortable, lots of car parking space. Staff friendly & enjoyed breakfast plus evening meal. Looking forward to my next visit when I hope to explore the gym & pool.

Great food and service in the restaurant. Quiet room so good nights sleep. Travelled before the start of the football season and did not realise the hotel forms one of the stands to the Bolton football club - so may be busier on a home match day.

Great hotel, central location with easy to access to the M6. Perfect for the Macron Staduim, pitch views are amazing. Friendly and welcoming staff. Would recommend this hotel for business or pleasure. Facilities also are 10 out of 10. Faultless, did not want to leave, will ensure I send my business clients to this hotel.
