all staff very friendly , room clean functional and comfortable. the bar and restaurant manager was top. as were his staff.. the hotel was ideally situated for my Scottish guests who arrived by car, the food especially the breakfast was the best my guests had ever had. . the hotel was very service based. 2 friends tried the hair salon and fitness centre and said they were both great. everyone wished they could have stayed longer, but will return

Wanted somewhere to stay with my son whilst visiting my daughter in University. Reception staff were warm and welcoming. Rooms were lovely and clean . IPlanning to stay there again in June and probably quite a few times over the next couple of years.

We had a lovely 4 night stay here, it was necessary because of house refurbishments. All the staff are excellent and very friendly. We didn't have dinner here but the breakfast was great. We had a slight problem with the TV, which couldn't be fixed there and then so we were given an upgrade for our next nights stay. I would stay here again.

Stay on business here quite often. Rooms are of a decent standard, are spacious, always clean and have plenty of storage space.
Staff are mostly polite and helpful. Food is above average, although if i were paying for it myself perhaps a little on the expensive side. Good breakfast selection. Compared to other hotels in the area Whites is possibly the best option.

Much better than other hotels around Bolton that i found in same price range.
Excellent facilities and very comfortable rooms, swimming pool was a really good bonus after a days boring training course near by.

Good value for money and a worth stay. Very clean and staff were also very professional.
They could do better with selection of tea and coffee though. There was only 1 small pack of shortbread biscuit. Bummer isn't it when there's 2 of us!!

Overnight stay last Sunday en route home from holiday. Lovely room with very comfortable big bed. Great power shower. Good food, breakfast bacon particularly tasty. Had a lovely pre-breakfast swim. Would happily return, and will definitely recommend.

Stayed in the hotel for one night. It's very comfortable, the rooms were of a good size. The pool is also a nice size and my four year old really enjoyed it. Had a very nice meal and breakfast, but most of all the staff were lovely. Even the General Manager (who was really lovely and friendly) was around: she was really interested in the guests, making sure they were happy and ensuring the staff were doing their job. Lovely vibe: can't complain.

Had a 2 night stay with friends for the soul cartel night & I must say the staff are fantastic at this hotel and couldn't do enough for us. Nothing was too much trouble for them. I even got a box of chocolates & a birthday card. The breakfast was a mixture of fruit, ceral, toast or full english with an aray of different fruit juices. The rooms were so comfortable with tea & coffee facilities. I have to say we had a problem with our neighbours partying on our first night but once we complained about it they were threatened with being removed from the hotel, the staff then offered us a room change & couldn't apologize enough, even the rain didn't stop us from enjoying the stay as the receptionist Kelsey borrowed us her umbrella. Must mention Koffe & Johnny who made our stay memorable & even the cleaner in the public reception was so polite. Made a differe nce to our stay & we will definitely be staying again.
