Excellent experience, I stayed in a room with a view overlooking the football pitch. I had a great day at the mach between Bolton F.C. And Burnley F.C. I was in the main lounge and had a very nice afternoon. I also used the gym everyday and also had a good swim in the lovely pool, a nice sauna and I did some long walks near by including a walk to the Pick and also visited Churllys fish and chip place.

This hotel is great for families and couples as our stay included full use of the sauna, steam room, gym and swimming pool. It's also close to a shopping complex which is in walking distance.

With its lovely bar and restaurant you're sure to have a lovely stay just like myself and my partner.

We checked into this hotel because I have seen the stadium from the M61 motorway many times and had been intrigued by the hotels location. We were not disappointed, the young lady on reception was very friendly and pleasant to talk to, she informed us about the restaurant and nothing appeared to be too much trouble for her. The room was very smart, clean and well laid out. We had a meal in the restaurant which again was outstanding, to be honest, when I read about the Chef, and his team in the kitchen, from the menu in the room I was worried about what the meal would cost, especially hearing about being the previous holder of 2 Michelin Stars etc. There was nothing to worry about, the price of the meal was a pleasant surprise, and the food was excellent. Would definitely stay again.

Hotel was nice, reception area was nice and I thought the layout of the hotel was nice but the floor levels were confusing. But sadly, the breakfast was very disappointing. They kept running out of items, i queued up, they ran out of bacon, so I sat down, then queued up again when they brought the bacon out to find they had now ran out of eggs (both scrambled and fried) as well as black pudding. After several attempts I gave up and had bacon on toast!

Visited again for an annual private function. Room excellent value, breakfast experience much improved from previous years. Feel that bar area could do with an upgrade. ...chairs are looking a little tired.

Once we found the entrance everything was a great. Just watch out for the only sign on the roundabout, not before it!
Breakfast was a delight even though the hotel was full. Table clean and freshly set, plenty of every sort of food, tea and coffee in plentiful supply. Full marks to the staff

Stayed for conference in a room which overlooked the pitch. Big room but a bit dated. The bathroom was freezing and there wasn't any hot water either in the evening or the next morning. The curtains didn't close properly and the flood lights were left on all night - it was like sleeping on the runway at Manchester airport. Breakfast was pretty average buffet fare. To be honest, I'm sure fans would love it but for me it was a bit below par. I also felt uncomfortable as a lone female as there were quite a few blokes wandering around at night. As I said, just not my cup of tea.
