Friendly staff on check in and check out.
Hotel room looks dated and in need of a refurbishment. I probably wouldn't stay here again. I thought the price of £129 room only was a bit on the high side. I assumed this was because it was a match day.

A superb local theatre catering for all ages with entertainment all round and a superb cafe open at evening and weekend which is reasonably priced. A great idea not to compete with neighbouring theatre the Albert halls when it comes to day to day productions like panto means the octagon has become a serious player locally.

Very pleasant hotel and bar.
The room was good and comfortable. The breakfast was pretty good too. Nice comfortable seating area in the bar when not drinking or eating.
Nothing really springs to mind. Everything was as expected. Perhaps a top up of shampoo and shower gel would have been useful, especially when staying for more than one day / night.
