On approach to the main building you know immediately you're arriving to accommodation that's got a touch of class and elegance to it. Receptionists we're friendly and quick to get me checked in.
Finding my way to my room was easy and on the way there I passed through some immaculate gardens with lovely seating areas.
Once inside my room my first thought was just how spacious it was. With a large bed and comfortable mattress and pillows, my only real grumble was the bed frame was beyond creaky, there's no air con (fine in October, could be an issue in summer), and the OCD in me was being driven insane by the wonkily installed wall mounted TV. Besides that, I had a supremely comfortable sleep and my morning routine got off to a great start thanks to heated flooring in the bathroom as well as a heated towel rack.
Breakfast was not a great experience, but not terrible. I was seated within a couple of minutes at most but it was clear the staff and kitchen were run off their feet a little as I was still waiting on even just a tea or coffee after around 10min. It was maybe another 10-15min before any food arrived and the poached egg that I ordered was harder than The Rock's biceps with the yolk crumbling away into dust. Completely inedible, and I saw other tables having issues with their eggs too. I'm just glad Gordon Ramsay didn't witness the horror. The rest of the food was tasty enough though, to be fair.

Shannon&Matthews wedding.
I had my wedding here on Saturday the 7th of December 2019 and can not fault it at all. The hotel itself is beautiful and the rooms are very clean and comfy. The staff at this hotel are wonderful, very friendly and accommodating. I would like to say a very special thank you to Jacqueline the wedding planner at this hotel. My wedding was perfect and the biggest reason for this was you. Nothing was ever a problem and you made everything I wanted possible. Me and Matthew cannot thank you enough for the last 12 months planning our big day and giving us the day of our dreams. If anybody is thinking of having a wedding here do it! Jacqueline and the staff are amazing. I will definitely be back very soon. Xxx

Pretty expensive for a swim and massage but if your there for a relaxing weekend then it's worth the money, set in beautiful surroundings and the village its self is superb. Its got its own little tea room l, steak house food place set in a bar, a wedding gift shop and an original toy shop all set in the grounds of grounds of hotel, I'd recommend staying in the old rooms when booking your hotel as you actually stay in one of the cottages so they have more character then the newer build on the left side of the spa. The only negative for me would be the prices of food and drinks here as you need a second mortgage to eat and drink but like I said, if your there for a relaxing weekend then you don't mind as even the short trip down the road to Bromley Cross is an effort when you see the village surroundings your staying in.

The place is amazing we stay here with work 3/4 nights a week everything is spot on, but in particular their is four members of staff that go above and beyond every time for us they are 2 reception staff named Victoria And Amanda who are wonderful and bend over backwards for us and 2 bar staff named Joe and Ollie who are brilliant at there job all four are a credit to the place and there manager should be proud of them

Rooms ok, the estate is interesting. Breakfast service in the "pub" is not big enough to serve for large parties, so be prepared for a long long wait.

Absolutely fantastic place. Very peaceful and very mindful exactly what I needed. Its hydro pool is superb the gym is modern and quiet all in all its an amazing place too visit. There are some work going on at moment not at spa but outside there building new houses. You may think that it will disturb you but it does not. The views are lovely up there also and there are fantastic walks to be had also.

We had a spa package and it included afternoon tea.
When we arrived the staff were friendly and help and were so right through our visit. We got our towel and robe and then found out that they no longer do the slippers, if we had known this we would have brought appropriate foot wear.
Never the less we stowed our gear and headed for our afternoon tea. Again staff were friendly and helpful, when the food arrived I was not overly impressed but thought I'd reserve my judgement. The sandwiches and wrap had reasonable amount of filling apart from the Tuna one which looked like it had just been waved at the tuna from afar but was not close enough to get any on it... The macaroons were tiny and I always think pointless and tasteless. The tiny shot glass with what I thought was chocolate gateaux, was just a tinny bit of sponge with way to much cream, and the scones were like biscuits, in fact we sent them back to receive new ones that although were better were still chewy.
All in all my first impression was right, I was totally underwhelmed with the food, which is a shame as you should really be able to mess up an afternoon tea.
I also think that some coffee training needs to be given as I had a cappuccino with a mm of froth not foam, to be a cappuccino you should have more foam milk than steamed milk.
We went back after this to a really nice use of the spa before going to for our massage. This was spot on and just what was needed. Thank you Hollie. We went back in the spa after and had another hour in the thermal pool just relaxing.
All in all we had a great time, disappointed with the afternoon tea but it didn't spoil our first day chilling together in 9 months.
We have booked in for hot stone massage in October...

Lovely cottage style room, comfy bed, excellent breakfast and friendly professional staff, a perfect chance to relax in the pool and spa. These are all the positives.
The negatives are, the thermal spa zones are in need of attention with only 3 of the 5 in working order.
The beautiful countryside views that once existed and enhanced the infinity pool experience have become a massive building site with constant noise invading what should have been a tranquil and calming experience.
Such a shame, otherwise Perfect, thank you.

Had a great time, room looked recently updated, food was surprisingly good which I didn't expect had evening meal and breakfast. Thermal journey was good had to argue to get 2 X 45 in the spa not one in the spa and one in the pool. The sun was shining which helps but outside was a very nice place to sit and drink beer
