Perfect! Lovely room and excellent cooked breakfast. Everything is spotless and so much care for our safety. Staff at The Last Drop could not have done more to be helpful and kind. Beautiful setting and brought back happy memories.

Nice location although out the outskirts if a housing estate & hotel generally OK. Rooms/bathrooms need updating. We had a noisy room, walkway outside and issues with toilet overflow constantly running and noise from radiator tapping. Bed was really comfortable. Pool & spa really nice with outdoor hydro pool. Had a nice dinner in restaurant but missed breakfast.

Absolutely Beautiful setting in breath taking scenery. Food & Service was second to none. The actual layout of the village is amazing & very quaint even has a small pub and a couple if gift shops. The Conference Suite is excellent and superbly run. The staff were excellent. Could not fault any part it the place.

Had a lovely spa break, however we were disappointed that we could not access the spa until after 2pm check in, and that, unlike other places, we could not stay after the 11am check out. We had to leave a lot earlier than we anticipated. This put a bit of a damper on our stay.

We booked a spa day via Wowcher and it was well worth the £60pp - the spa facilities, afternoon tea and massages/ facial we had were excellent. 😍
It is a shame houses are now being built in view of the spa now BUT would not stop me returning. Staff are lovely- especially the girls doing the treatments!! 🤗
The view of the builders didn't ruin the day either 😉😂😊

Wedding
I could write such a long review about how fantastic the day was thanks to the venue and the staff working there but I'll keep to the usual parts for future guests so you don't get bored of reading it. The date had been moved a couple of times due to covid, Last Drop were supportive throughout. We stayed the night before the wedding and had a wonderful meal in the restaurant, we were given a great welcome and settled into our rooms which were clean and new looking, anything we asked for was no trouble. The day itself was magical, the Penny Farthing Suite has it's own chapel for the ceremony, a bar that isn't shared and was well staffed. The wedding breakfast was cooked lovely which is difficult for so many people. The whole day and night was a wonderful atmosphere and very welcoming. If you are planning on booking your wedding I would not hesitate, the wedding co-ordinator Liz has been a great support to my sister and my brother in law during the process of having to rearrange several times, nothing was too much trouble from start to finish over a period of 2 years in the end. On the day I had a dress issue and she was over in minutes to help. All was sorted so no worries there. We didn't use the spa as we were too busy having a good time after so long in lock down but social distancing was still supported. It has been a few weeks since the wedding now and I find myself thinking still how perfect it was, this would not have been possible without such great service from the Last Drop and all staff who supported on Saturday 7th and Sunday the 8th August. Thank you all so much.

Last minute booking for New Year Gala Evening Meal. I was informed booking in at 2pm book out 12 o’clock mid day and full use of all the spar facilities.
First impression shame the hotel is in the middle of a housing estate. Walking to the entrance we had to walk past the weirdest Spa pool l have ever came across in my life people in the pool leaning over a wall overlooking the car park and a housing estate ! Not my idea of a relaxing situation.
We paid over £400 for one nights stay. On booking into the hotel we were just give the room number and the key to our room, there was no welcoming or enjoy your stay and the staff seemed very cold. We also had to ask for information regarding the Black Tie evening meal we had booked. We were told to meet in reception around 7 o’clock for champagne and canapés and we would be escorted to the dinning area as the evening meal was not starting until 7:30.
Arriving at the reception area there was no one there to meet and greet us and no champagne or canapés, instead we were informed we had to go outside and walk around the back of the hotel across the rear car park to the Pennine Suite ( my wife had paid for her hair and make up to be done and she was wearing an off the shoulder evening gown and heels and no coat
all l can say is it was a good job it was not raining, snowing or blowing a gale ) The suite we were looking for we could not find as it is not very well sign posted and we had to ask a number of people for directions but no one knew where it was. We finally found the Suite and the evening meal was not served until 8:30, there was a resident lady singer who only sang 1950’s songs of people who were long dead it felt more like a morgue than a New Years Eve. The second spot she did was a little bit more lively. Then at 1 o’clock in the morning we had to make the return trip back outside across the rear car park and back to our hotel room. On entering the hotel we asked where the dinning room was for breakfast, we were informed that breakfast was served between 8am and 10:30 am as rooms had to be vacated by 11am and not 12 o’clock mid day as we had been told when booking. After breakfast next morning we had had enough and booked out, some people checked out and put cases in their car’s and then tried to use the spa but they were informed that as they had checked out they could not use the spa or any facilities.
The only good thing l can say about the hotel is the executive room we booked was clean and comfortable.
