Visited tonight for the first time in a couple of years, and were not at all impressed. It seems to have gone downhill. Seems very overpriced for the size of portions. Chips were tasty enough, but I had to douse the small piece of haddock in salt and vinegar, as it was flavourless.
Such a shame as it always had a good reputation.

Lovely place , but overpriced and under sized portions, left feeling hungry after paying £13+ for fish& chips, mum had the pensioner s meal and it honestly is smaller than a child’s portion. Been once don’t think I’d bother a second visit

The food's nice but there is better out there. Ordered fish and chips for delivery. The fish was quite good, the chips were ok. Not crispy, kinda soggy. The fish was nice but not totally crispy nor melt in the mouth.
If you're in the Bolton area and want a fish and chip delivery, try The Posseidon. Perfect fish and chips, it only costs a little extra but so worth it.
On the whole, the food is good but if you know better it's a little sub standard...

Friday lunch with my family at this Greek Restaurant in the garden setting was delightful. We ordered the lamb chops and a number of salads on the side and all were so tasty. As a final treat the Baklava was scrumptious. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Members of Bloomfield Over 50's Club in 2 coaches visited Olympus Restaurant yesterday for a lovely 2 course fish & chips lunch & delicious cream tea.Absolutely fab. good food, friendly & helpful staff providing an efficient service. Thoroughly recommended.

Members of Bloomfield Over 50's Club in 2 coaches visited the Olympus Restaurant Bolton for a plentiful lovely 2 course fish & chips lunch and a delicious cream tea. Excellent service from the friendly and helpful staff. Thoroughly recommend. Thanks to Tasos and his staff for helping to make our day to Bury Market such a success.
