We often go midweek around tea-time before heading off to the Octagon theatre. However, this time around it was a meal after work before we went to the cinema.

It is the sort of place i imagine as a restaurant from 1952. That said its not a bad thing. The service is excellent and the fish and chips were outstanding. its really good to relax and eat and chat with friends over simple well prepared food.

Piping hot fish and chips no complaints happy staff making you feel welcome went at lunchtime for a bite on break from work was served almost immediately and food was excellent. Deffo worth a return visit
