I've lived in Bolton for almost 20 years and I have passed this place many times but never ventured in until now. wow what a lovely clean and calm feeling once entering, I was shown to my seat by a really nice guy, me and the Mrs ordered cod and chips and peas and a slice of bread and a pot of tea, we didn't need to wait long before the food was at our table, the fish and chips were a generous size and a great pot of tea the fish was had a lovely crispy batter and lovely fluffy chips well worth a visit so if your ever in Bolton and you want a good dinner try this place you won't be disappointed.

What a wonderful experience.. never before have I eaten fish snd chips whilst a live pianist plays.. On Bolton too...🤗 The staff are delightful and couldn't be more helpful.. A real jewel of a place..

I got a normal cod and chips. It was my first time. It was cooked well, but I seriously think it lacked some flavour. The chips were really good and I liked the cod and peas too. Portions are decent. Service was great, everyone was polite. The atmosphere was absolutely perfect, A little jazz playing in the back while it was raining, really well lit and decorated. The only thing that stood out to me was the price. It isn't unaffordable, but I would go there more often if it was a little cheaper. Other than that, not a lot was bad.

I have just had a 90th birthday party for my mum at The Olympus for 23 people. I can’t thank the restaurant and staff enough for what they did for us. The organisation went really smoothly and the staff were brilliant in making sure it was the best experience for my mum. Would not hesitate to recommend them Thank you so much for today. You were excellent

I have no idea what the fuss is about. . you don't go get waited on.. there was no taste to the fish.. you pays your money , get your food. And that's it .. no after service . And it wasn't busy .. welcomed in .. and not even a good bye when leaving ..

My 1st visit with a friend. Not just your usual chippy - even a grand piano in the restaurant!!
Not cheap, but food, service and staff were wonderful, even opened the door when we left!
Not somewhere you would go every week, but as a special treat.

Very friendly and helpful staff, especially the head waiter. Warm, cosy yet airy venue with well spaced tables. Good for groups as well as smaller parties. Old fashioned, un rowdy atmosphere.

We recently returned home to Bolton from Australia, and went to Olympus Restaurant 3 times through our time back home and all I can say is the food, staff and restaurant are treasures to Bolton’s town community and identity. Loved every chip and the Cod was perfect. Amazing place to catch up with friends over a chip butty and a wonderful cup of tea. John & Paul.

Olympus Fish and Chip Restaurant is absolutely fantastic. Members of staff meet and greet you and all are very friendly. The Restaurant is very clean and the atmosphere is friendly. The food is well cooked, very tasty and well presented. Have been here a few times now, I love everything about it.
