I will always recommend here to people if they want Fish & Chips, the food is lovely (fish is flaky and not covered in grease), the chips are wonderful, they have ice cream and cakes.
My nephew had pizza last time and said it was the best pizza ever.
The service is wonderful, you order at the till, and the wait staff are all so friendly! Been coming for years monthly and hope to continue this tradition for years to come.

Eat here last week after being at The Octagon Theatre , and what a lovely time we had. Food good , service good and very pleasant being serenaded by the lovely pianist.

Really lovely place. Such a friendly, relaxing atmosphere, and a very talented Pianist added to the whole experience, with his skilful playing. It was quite wonderful. Food cooked to perfection. Staff helpful, polite, and welcoming. My friend and I enjoyed our visit, and will be sure to return. Thanks to all involved in making this Restaurant such a delight. 🥰

Visited the olympus after a trip to bury Market. Lovely restaurant and very efficient service food was very nice. However as a coeliac the choice was very poor.

Great fish and chip restaurant either eating in or take away. Being owned and run by the same family, started life back on church bank near the Man and Syth pup used to think we were right posh going in there as a youth. Still go in now and again in the new place no pun intended when in town. Still a very friendly venue.

Not been for 6-7 years. Had battered fish. Batter slightly dry, not freshly made. But on hole give a good service. Will go back again. Thank you

The staff at the ‘Olympus Fish and Chip Restaurant’ are always warm, welcoming and very helpful - nothing is ever too much trouble.
I had the Rag Pudding (traditional Lancashire dish) with chips and gravy. It arrived very quickly and was tasty.
Will definitely come here again.

Visited this restaurant as part of a coach trip to the area, about 25 of us in total. Immediately we arrived we were greeted by the two guys (I assume owners/managers) who made us feel incredibly welcome with their humour and verse. Venue was spotless and well kept, service was prompt and courteous.
The fish and chips were among the best have had, lovely white fish and just the right amount of batter. The chips were also excellent.
If anything, could have done with a few more chips (this is testament to how much I enjoyed them!) but this could have been to do with it been a "coach party" price, rather than if booked independently.
Would definitely come again if in the area.
PS upon leaving the restaurant, noticed a counter of delicious looking ice cream, so just sorry I didn't have enough time there to order some!

Lovely meal ..fish batter was so light and tasty ..sevice impeccable ..chilled water to greet us ..ambience relaxing...with the added suprise of the piano player ...lovely end to our day trip out x..Thank you x
