My sister and I go to Oylimpus most Tuesdays after shopping , it’s lovely to be met at the door , greeted with a smile , and shown to a table. The food is exceptional , the haddock 👍👍👍👍👍, my sister tends to have grilled place , superb 👍👍👍👍👍 , try the home made steak and mushroom pie 👍👍👍👍👍 , or the cheese and onion pie , you will not be dissapointed , all accompanied by a pier ist , while you eat , very professional , and well worth a visit ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We are only in Bolton centre every two months or so, but always make a point of going here on our way home.
Always with a slight worry that it will not be as good as our last visit, but happily it always is.
From the welcome from Ali at the door, to the smile and helpfulness of all the other staff, Tasos always happy to chat with his customers, the cleanliness, but most of all the excellent quality and taste of the food.
Yet again when our food arrived, we thought that we may struggle with the generous portions, but 15 minutes later found us ordering a sweet also. Faultless in every way.

Cane here today with my husband and our children and what can I say highly recommended the service food was bob on .I think there was someone playing a piano was very relaxing I could have gone sleep to that ,we will be back . The fish was fresh perfect my husband had a rag pudding and girls loved the chips .we will come back .if you have never been please go and try .

Nice large place in central Bolton close to the bus interchange, specialising in fish and chips but they do provide other options for vegetarians ie. Cheese and onion pasty/pie. Different choices of size of fish etc. depending on how hungry you are, for example, we had the mini fish and chips £11 as we weren't very hungry, which consisted of; small battered cod, 6 chips...yes just 6 (it's advertised as 6 chips) and mushy peas. We were quite full after, perfect if you just want a few chips. There's the full fish and chips with peas, bread and butter and tea or coffee and other combinations. Only 2 types of fish that I remember, cod or haddock. There's a lovely conservatory that you can eat in with sunlight pouring through the windows that look out onto a small concrete yard with pot plants. Whilst we were eating a pianists started playing nostalgic songs, which was nice. It's full of elderly people, like being in a care home, but all very pleasant. They do serve alcohol and desserts.
The chippy next door also belongs to them, so if you don't want to sit inside, you can always get a takeaway.

Absolutely lovely experience. Everything about the restaurant was fantastic….. lovely food, staff and atmosphere. Staff are so welcoming and friendly. Food is superb and restaurant is so nice and clean. Would highly recommend it.

Olympus is an excellent place to eat. It is a family owned business, and they go the extra mile to get to know their customers. The food is always excellent, and the atmosphere is always warm and welcoming. There is always background music and, at certain times, a live pianist. It's a real treat. They offer both a restaurant and a separate takeaway shop.

Lovely place to go, when we go its usually Saturday tea time, we call it our posh chippy tea, food always exceptional and kooked to order, staff always makesure you enjoy your visit and cant do enough for you. Made me hungry now, will probably book for tomorrow now.😋
