Visited today for the first time. Will certainly return. Excellent Fish and Chips. Great service from lovely staff. Restaurant is spotlessly clean. Lovely ambience especially with the addition of the pianist playing beautiful songs in the background.

Really enjoyed my first visit to Olympus. Went at lunchtime (just after one) and the place was buzzing. Lots of people, couples, groups, and individuals. Extensive menu. I went for fish, chips and curry sauce and it was delightful. I found the service to be very slick which, to me, conveyed that this establishment knows its business. The three staff members I encountered were very efficient and polite. My food was served very promptly and was hot which, again, illustrated that these people know their business. I was impressed. Olympus is not "high end" dining but (certainly in my opinion) it does what it does very well with it's food and staff. Oh, and a nice touch is the pianist playing the grand piano in the centre of the venue. I enjoyed my visit, my food and the ambience.

I've lived in Bolton for almost 20 years and I have passed this place many times but never ventured in until now. wow what a lovely clean and calm feeling once entering, I was shown to my seat by a really nice guy, me and the Mrs ordered cod and chips and peas and a slice of bread and a pot of tea, we didn't need to wait long before the food was at our table, the fish and chips were a generous size and a great pot of tea the fish was had a lovely crispy batter and lovely fluffy chips well worth a visit so if your ever in Bolton and you want a good dinner try this place you won't be disappointed.

I got a normal cod and chips. It was my first time. It was cooked well, but I seriously think it lacked some flavour. The chips were really good and I liked the cod and peas too. Portions are decent. Service was great, everyone was polite. The atmosphere was absolutely perfect, A little jazz playing in the back while it was raining, really well lit and decorated. The only thing that stood out to me was the price. It isn't unaffordable, but I would go there more often if it was a little cheaper. Other than that, not a lot was bad.

I have just had a 90th birthday party for my mum at The Olympus for 23 people. I can’t thank the restaurant and staff enough for what they did for us. The organisation went really smoothly and the staff were brilliant in making sure it was the best experience for my mum. Would not hesitate to recommend them Thank you so much for today. You were excellent

I have no idea what the fuss is about. . you don't go get waited on.. there was no taste to the fish.. you pays your money , get your food. And that's it .. no after service . And it wasn't busy .. welcomed in .. and not even a good bye when leaving ..
