We had our wedding here on Saturday. All we can say is wow!! It was amazing from start to finish, the service was outstanding, as was the food and everything else. We would like to say a huge thank you and show our gratitude to Rochelle our wedding planner. She went above and beyond from start to finish and her support was outstanding. We will definately recommend her and the Hotel.

We had our special day on the 2nd September it was everything we wished for and more staff were amazing with me and my bridesmaids the night before the wedding they made sure we had everything we needed and supplied us all with pastries and Prosecco on the morning,
Rochelle and Chris were fantastic with us the whole day of the wedding making sure everything ran smoothly our only downfall was the dj we found him flat and could be quit rude at times when our guest were asking for songs to be played.
Everything else was perfect would defo reccomend the venue our room was also dressed to perfection we used Donna Kelly wedding events for this.

Rochelle and Chris were fantastic with us the whole day of the wedding making sure everything ran smoothly our only downfall was the dj we found him flat and could be quit rude at times when our guest were asking for songs to be played.

Had our wedding at The georgian house in August 2023.
The organisation of the wedding day was fantastic and thank you to Rochelle the wedding planner. Your organising skills made our day very special.
The food of afternoon tea with a Alice in Wonderland twist for our wedding breakfast was out of this world along with fish and chip supper in the evening also fabulous and thank you to the chef for making such wonderful food.
The bedrooms were great also.
The venue- the food and the support from staff -would definitely recommend it. You are brilliant.

Great location close to the M61, on site parking at no extra cost. Rooms a bit tired but acceptable, good size and roomy bed. Price through a booking site good. Reception staff fabulous, reasonable bar area. Would return.

Food good, Staff good, Room not so good. No air conditioning meant the room window had to be open all the tie as the hotel was so hot. This allowed the traffic noise in 24 hours a day, plus the sound of a fan in the room added to the noise
Wasps nest arrived outside our room which meant we had to shut the window all the time which made it all the warmer and drier. We were offered another room but as we only had two days to go we decided to stay in the room. We should have moved.
The room decor was basic and in need of refurbishment. In the bathroom there were gaps between the wll and raised channel for the pipes. The shower was not very good.

Worked from here for years and can honestly say this is an excellent venue. Very convenient, rooms are an excellent size and the the staff are nothing but helpful, pleasant, courteous & professional. Nothing is ever a problem to them and they alone make it a pleasure to keep coming back.

Have recently started meeting a colleague here as we work remotely and it’s an ideal meeting spot. Irene is great, really attentive and makes sure we have everything we need whilst working. We’ve tried a few different places and this has to be the best.

Well hotel is located in a nice place. Very convenient to most of the places. Behind car park at the hotel. You can park your car free of charge. They do have spa swimming pool gym as well open at 8am-5pm. Rooms are bit old type need bit of renovation

Amazing staff, very friendly. Bruna is always very helpful and welcomes me with a smile and always has a treat for my dog Lulu. Everyone is very friendly and is very loving towards Lulu. The place is very clean and the swimming, jacuzzi and sauna are a delight. I would highly recommend a stay here

Was a nice peaceful stay. The room was a good size, food menu was slightly disappointing but the food tasted good. The breakfast was very good and all freshly prepared.

We were checked in by a lovely member of staff called Zowie who was very accommodating and sweet, she also helped us out massively with check in details and was all round helpful and kind!

I totally enjoyed the whole experience and we had a most successful business meeting and the lady who looked after us and served us drinks in the bar / reception area was especially welcoming and friendly. Good service .

Good location. We enjoyed our family stay. The staff were all very friendly and the 2 family rooms we occupied were clean and more than adequate for our needs. Dinner menu gave a reasonable choice but there was no steak offered. The courses we ordered were tasty, well presented and enjoyable. However, it appeared that there was insufficient staff to cope with the number of diners at dinner, as the service was slow. Breakfast gave a good and varied choice, was very enjoyable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.

Went for afternoon tea. We were served a delicious tea for two by a lovely friendly lady (assisted initially by the chef) who waited on our every need. Couldn't fault either the meal or the service. Would definitely recommend.

We had an afternoon gift voucher bought for us fir an afternoon tea. It was a little difficult to make the booking as only 2 people were able to make the booking and these 2 ladies are very busy but once the booking was made everything went well...our hostess IRENE was wonderful very kind , polite and efficient...the afternoon tea was delicious and we took home a large goodie bag of fresh hit scones...thank you for a very enjoyable experience

Went to the pool for a quick swim, hot tub not as hot as I like, pool colder than mercure Haydock hotel, sauna and steam room good.
We got a travel cot in the room for my 13 month old. They made it up and more comfortable with a duvet / cover on top of the base to pad it out. Baby slept 8 hours fine in it.
Hair dryer is good.
Kettle in the room so managed to warm up his baby pouch for his dinner. Also made porridge pots for breakfast. (Saving money as on mat leave- not requiring to buy a hotel breakfast)
Shower terrible- needs more pressure.
Bed comfy.
Pillows could be a little softer. IMO. Husband said it was comfy for him.
Room was so spacious and brilliant for my baby to play and toddle about. Bathroom with tub so could bath baby easily.
Didn’t require bar or restaurant.
All in all it is dated but it was a quick overnight at a good price. Comfy sleep and got a wash. For requiring a convenient stay between Glasgow to London I would come again. But we do mainly go to Mercure Haydock which we prefer.
