Polite friendly staff whether attending a function, or visiting the shops and tea room.
Pool and spa well worth a visit. Very relaxing looking at the views and watching the world go by from the warmth of the spa. All in all a great experience.

I stayed here as a guest last month because of the newly renovated rooms. They were delightful!! fluffy duvets, total darkness and superb linens. Best nights sleep in months. The rooms service was really excellent with hot delicious food served on a lovely big tray. the spa is so very wonderful you wont want to leave the open to the air pool!

Have previously stayed at this hotel when it was part of a different chain. A lot of improvement has certainly been seen since then - the overall look and feel is much better, with an improved bar and restaurant menu, too. Gym equipment is also better than I remember, with much less broken down items. Room was quiet, comfy and very well proportioned. All staff friendly and helpful. Only minor point was shower kept running hit and cold. Will definitely be staying again.

Had a fabulous summer spa day with 2 of my friends today. The staff were so attentive and polite, the pool and spa were lovely before our treatments in the beauty rooms. Maria was my therapist and she was amazing. My shoulders were in knots and she has magic hands and released all the tension. The facial was amazing too. After a delicious lunch, we went in the thermal pool to chill out and then had a couple of drinks in the bar.we were made to feel very special throughout our day, an absolute treat and can't wait to come back.thank you all so much x

We came here around 10 years ago and it has changed quite a bit since then, there is now quite a nice looking modern spa here. The stores to the rear of the hotel are still as quaint as we remembered and the cafe is still great quality. Though from the car park at the front it looks like you can't really go beyond the hotel due to a no entry sign on a gate post but this is only directed at cars not pedestrians. Still a nice little hideaway.

I felt this place was very average and I have stayed in much nicer places for less money. There was only 1 set of towels in the room on arrival and one of the bedside lamps did not work. Credit to the staff on reception who dealt with both very quickly and efficiently. What the hotel room lacked was made up by the nice staff. Our room was at the end of a corridor next to a room that had a fan going all night which we could hear in our room so neither of us had a good nights sleep. The duty manager in the morning was going to look into it but too late for us. We arrived late and had we arrived earlier we may have been inclined to mention it and get our room changed but we were too tired and wrongly expected the noise to go away after 11 pm. Sorry but we won't stay there again.

Had a wonderful spa break with my daughter
The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is delicious and the spa facilities are really good. We both had the aromatherapy massage which was lovely and very relaxing. Our room was very clean and comfortable
