The staff were immediately friendly and helpful, couldn't do enough for us. The Spa and pool is unique and fantastic, could stay in there all day. And our room in the Courtyard was clean and comfortable, all we could want in a quiet location.

Excellent value for moeny. Lovely staff, keen to assist when they can. Restaurant food and tea room and pub all sampled and found to be delicious. We will definitely return again!

Great pool and spa. Weather was cold and wet so it was inconvenient to be housed in cottages away from the main hotel. Breakfast was very expensive.

Good welcome, friendly and efficient staff in general. Room worn out, bathroom shabby and in dire need of a refurb. Restaurant menu confusing and overpriced. Could be good with a room overhaul.

I have visited this hotel before as the spa is fantastic. This visit our room was nice and the hotel staff were friendly however it seemed the hotel needs some refurbishment. There were signs of damp in certain common parts of the hotel and the shower waste pipe in our room was leaking which has made part of the bath panel rotten. Besides that it was an enjoyable stay and we will be back again.

I have to thank the team at The Last Drop for hosting our new Dynamic Networking group yesterday evening. Stephen and his colleague (sorry I didn't catch her name) looked after us perfectly. The room was lovely and clean and there was plenty of coffee and a choice of teas too for all our guests. It's been a while since I've been to the Last Drop myself, so it was a good nudge to remind me of how lovely the place is. See you again next month.

Really impressed by the room - number 73. Huge bathroom with bath, space, washbasin, space, large shower. Hot towel rail, fluffy towels etc.

Long lead into room owing to length of bathroom! Very large bed - very comfy. Furniture very classy with your own little lounge! Could have moved in!

The only downside was that we did not have any hot water....brrrrrrrrrrr!

Sadly, we went out and forgot all about it....until next morning.....brrrrrrrr!

The pool and gym facilities were excellent. Used neither this time but my partner very much wanted a swim.

Staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. Room was great. The pool area was perfect. I have stayed here a few times and have always enjoyed my stay. Sometimes I travel alone, but always feel safe and cosy.

We have family in Bolton and have stayed here before, convenient for town and people we like to visit.
Comfortable hotel, good breakfasts, cooked to order, good size swimming pool and gymnasium.
Staff friendly. Would definitely stay again

Staff were less than helpful and did not seem interested in helping even simple request.
From the reception to the bar and restaurant
All were poor.
Toast arrived cold and burnt

Nice location and pleasing outside appearance. As we were just staying the night to go to a funeral we did not eat there or use the facilities. The rooms are quite dated but a reasonable size .Helpful and pleasant staff.

As usual we had a wonderfully relaxing break here. We dicovered the village, which is part of the hotel grounds, went to the tea shop and the gift/toy shop. The spa is wonderful...very clean and a. It is a real pleasure to sit in the hot spa and look over the hills. We had a small problem with the comfort of the bed, but this was remedied as soon as we reported it. It was our first time in the courtyard rooms, wonderfully spacious rooms.
Part of the hotel keeps its original features and the restaurant is part of the old stable block. When you go into that part of the hotel it is like walking along Diagon Alley, very atmospheric

I booked this hotel for a colleague & I as we were both training customers in Bolton the next day, so it made sense to book into the same hotel.

What a pleasant surprise. A Lovely hotel with a quaint layout. The rooms were nice, clean and well appointed. the restaurant server good quality food.
Breakfast was amongst the best I have had from many recent hotel stays, and notably good quality ingredients were used and cooked well.

Overall I am impressed with the quality and value offered by this hotel; on this occsio0n I did not make use of the Spa facilities but consider that to be an extra bonus - I would certainly come again if in the area for business.

Booked a spa day for a friends birthday. We got 2 treatments, the first being a back massage which was lovely & relaxing& definitely recommended. We then booked the manicure & polish which I was very disappointed with. It was done while we still lay on the bed after the back massage. There wasnt enough time for each layer to try properly so it got smudged as soon as we went to put our dressing gowns back on as we then felt rushed to leave the room as others were waiting to go in. I feel this part would have been much better if we had been sitting at one of the nail stations,
Lunch was lovely despite being served in a box but we had to ask for a cup of tea or coffee after. The coffee machine in the lounge area wasn't working & we were then told the coffee machine in the eating area wasn't working either s only basic tea or coffee available so quite disappointing.
Also there were children in the swimming sauna area which was not as relaxing as expected.
I don't feel it was worth the £69 each we paid for it
