I made a short visit here. The landscape and surroundings are beautiful. The buildings look pristine. The area was amazingly tidy and clean. The hotel was spotless and modern. The spa has a pool which overlooks the car park and is open to the elements yet integrated within the building. The pool is elevated ensuring privacy. The staff look very presentable and are very helpful.

Had Christmas Dinner there. The food was amazing and the service was fantastic. For the employees there to have such a cheery look while working on Christmas Day is just fantastic to see. Me and my family had a wonderful meal and a great experience. Thank you all employees who worked the Christmas day shift. If your in the area looking for somewhere to eat, I would definitely recommend that you try here :)

We went there for a wedding. Very nice venue but bar prices are far too high unless all your wedding guests are wealthy (a £12 bottle of prosecco cost £30).
There are absolutely no electric car recharging points in this huge place and none locally either, which is baffling. There are government grants available so all they need to do is apply.
There's are a few nice shops that are worth taking a look at.
Overall a lovely day as long as you remember to juice up your EV and bring your credit card with you.

Very nice place beds were decently comfy but still fell asleep instantly. Food was good quality and filling. With everyone being drunk the atmosphere was brilliant and everyone was uo on the dance floor. Staff are incredibly nice and welcoming. Overall brilliant.

Food was ok although the afternoon tea for two of us didn't really have a 'vegetarian' option as asked for and agreed......6 meat sandwiches and 2 cheese brought to the table.....my query fell on deaf ears unfortunately. Took a long time to get served and then gentle reminders were needed for 'extras' such as jam and butter for the scones.....all first world issues I know but put a downer on what was an otherwise pleasant lunch for a group of 5.

The day overall was very good. Pool quite hot and lots of time to soak. Up to treatment area drink and chat before appointment s. Great back massage and relaxing facial. The visit to restraunt area for afternoon tea was very disappointing, thick bread on sandwiches and an almost total absence of cakes. Usual scone jam and creme but a total miss in the cake area. A small triangle of flapjack, a small macron and three tiny (jelly bean size) confections of unknown taste in little dark chocolate cup. Whatever happened to Victoria sponge? Sad end to a good day. 🤐😯🙁

Brilliant place. Would recommend.
Has been 3 years ago and it was bit more cosy. Had more character to it. Loved piano witch is gone. Replacement with Smith new, original would be a better move.
Everything was superb room, people, spa facilities. And food is gorgeous. Last time.e desserts were served in very high brow level witch was amazing like cherry on top of the kake. This time was plane white bawl. Still all food including desert was worth travelling for ;)

Nice hotel withina quirky setting. Stayed here 3 times now, had issues with two of them. Heaters off and window left open by cleaners when I checked in late, was 10C in the room and a cold night! Other time the extractor fan in the bathroom decided to spit out all the dust it had gathered over the years while I was in the shower.
Good breakfast though 👌

The Last Drop Village is a very nice hotel, with friendly staff, well-kept rooms, a tasty breakfast with plenty of variety, and a wonderful pool.
The only minor gripe I have about the rooms are the showers. They have a pressure problem which causes the water to go cold every minute or so. Apart from this, WiFi is available, the beds are comfy and there is a TV on the wall.
The pool and spa are fantastic, including a hot pool that is open-air and several different sauna and steam room options. Me and my girlfriend spent several hours using these facilities during our stay.
The breakfast is great with a great selection of continental and cooked options to choose from.
I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Would just like to say we were at our granddaughters wedding in the harmony suite. Food was nice however the bar area was very cold and the lady overseeing the event was very condescending towards my husband. She made the assumption because he was using a walking frame that he was senile and asked him if he would like a small/childs meal. I have to say my husband is neither senile or has dementia and can eat as well as any other adult!!!! My husband didn't make a fuss at the time but he was very upset as were other guests.
Please ensure your staff do not to make these kind of comments in the future.

Had a fantastic time. The facilities are good (not the best I have been too but good). The hydropool over looks a bit of the car park before the rolling hills but it's no ones fault just a surprise as the photos don't show this (good advertising). Perhaps stop cars parking right underneath and grass that area would be better. They have entry of car parking spaces. The place is spotless andI mean spotless. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Nothing seemed too much trouble for anyone.
The whole 'village' feel is quaint and the lights at night just add to the charm.
We did a version of their advertised walking routes and aside from not very clear directions (hence a version) it was beautiful.
The room was gorgeous and spacious if a little far from reception. Which was not an issue except there was a door right next to our room to the outside that we could not use so had to walk all the way around everytime we wanted to go near reception.
Thank you for making a much needed break a great one x

Most of the staff were lovely in the Spa, bar, restaurant and hotel. A small number of staff need to update their training as well as current knowledge of offers, prices and times.
You may have teething problems with your new payment procedures but it does not reflect well on yourselves when one cannot pay the bill in advance nor credit costs to the room.
When we received the bill, it was not itemised into prices for bed, breakfast and evening meal, pamper items, drinks etc. So it was difficult to check what we had paid for.
Sunday morning breakfast was not organised very well at all. There were less staff on duty and waiting for coffees and teas took so long. Self service with the cooked items was not as good as Saturday mornings where you ordered foods required via the catering staff and cooked in the kitchen. There wasn't all the items on the list (poached eggs nor veggie sausages). Two of us had eaten the rest of the breakfast by the time these items had arrived.
One of the two rooms we had, needed the ceiling painted to hide the water stains.
The Last Drop Village has so much to offer that these minor problems spoil the overall lovely weekend we all had.

After a lovely day from start to finish I just had to leave a review.
I booked with my Mum for a spa day, on arrival we were greeted by a lovely man on receptuon who explained what would happen during our day. He was very welcoming and friendly. The treatments were amazing, thank you Caroline for doing an amazing job. I don't think I've ever felt so relaxed. Then we had time to chill in the relaxation room, the free tea and coffee was great, there was peach tea and water aswell. All it was missing was a few biscuits or snacks to tide us over to lunch.
Afternoon tea was lovely, a little to much butter on the sandwiches for me and I would have preferred thin bread over thick but thats my personal preference. The cakes were lovely small bites and a fresh scone with jam and cream.
Then onto the pool area, it was lovely and clean and the hot infinity pool was to die for the sun beds were very comfortable. The various steam rooms were great, i couldnt stay in long as they were to hot for me but again thats my personal preference.
All in all an amazing day, lovely staff all the way through, well worth the money.
Small suggestions to make it perfect..
Biscuits or snacks in with coffee and tea.
Thin bread option and less butter on sandwiches.
Small gift to finish off the day.
My husband booked this as a surprise and thought there was a take home gift incl but nothing was mentioned while I was there and I forgot to ask. To blissed out. X

Stayed for 1 night, we had access to the Spa Friday evening and Saturday morning. Facilities are great and never felt overcrowded even though there was a lot of people. The room was very nice and clean. Great Hotel to stay in and will be returning!

Good facilities, room was perfectly fine if a little dark, comfortable bed. Price point at £72 for the area ok for what you get but £12 on top for breakfast and £5.20 a pint starts getting into London prices hence 4 not 5 stars.

Really nice hotel, staff are very helpful especially the lady at breakfast.
Really good gym, pool and spar facilities.
Rooms are very nice but the main building rooms can be noisy.
Drinks are very expensive if work didn't pay for them I wouldn't be buying one.

Out standing staff, grounds, facilities and spa facilities. We paid for a room upgrade, could have been modernised and had more than an electric heater (the complimentary robes were needed mid-January). However, overall we had a relaxing, no pressure stay and woukd be back.
I do however feel the tray charge per person, per order for room service works out silly.

This was the venue for our daughter's wedding. The staff could not have been more helpful and the food was delicious. The whole event was organised in just 11 weeks following the unexpected closure of our original venue. Nothing was too much trouble and we had a wonderful day.

Beautiful as always and the food was amazing. However there was a wedding party which we seemed to have a room in the middle of. Despite a really comfy bed the noise made of taxis turning up and people in the area made it impossible to sleep.

Birthday treat for my papa.
Thank you so much for upgrading my dad's room for his birthday. He really enjoyed his dinner, bed and breakfast and was wowed by the size of the room. A million thanks, just that small thing, well, it really meant a lot and you guys are awesome.

Clean rooms, quite modern. Very poor selection of beer, with a total of 1 bitter(Robinson’s, like a poor Boddington). OK if you have to be in the area, but wouldn’t make a special trip. Didn’t try the spa or restaurant.

Wedding 18th August 2018. My wife and I would like to thank all the staff at The Drop Village for looking after us on Saturday. Our wedding was amazing, you made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble for you. The venue is absolutely stunning, loads of different things for our guests to do, a choice of different bars and shops to look around, set its in our grounds, the food was out of this world, lots of our guests commented on how lovely it was, and how it was prepared and served.. Receptionist were friendly, bar staff were lovely, Tara was a delight to wirk with, everybody was lovely. The Penine Suite was a beautiful venue and i cant thank you enough for setting up the tables exactly to our specifications :-) it was truely amazing.

Visited for a Spa treatment and afternoon tea as a birthday gift. The treatment was by Karen, who was very professional and gave good advice on products. The spa was well maintained and had a decent range of treatments. Afternoon tea was also good quality
