Great hotel conveniently situated at the centre of pretty much everything 👌
Wonderful staff and the cleanest, nicest rooms I've stayed in in Bolton.
The beds are SO comfortable!!! 😲
The resteraunt menu could use some work though, that goes for the breakfasts and the dining. Thankfully there are much better places to dine at near by.
Also, the £5 a day charge for the carpark is a BOLD move, nobody is going to be happy about that.
But as I said, it's a good hotel.

decent hotel, relaxing bar seating area.
small but modern rooms with decent furniture/decor.
Very TINY tv's (the picture frame is bigger!) hence the lower room score, but at least there are plugs next to the beds on both sides! (so that's a win)
Small, but nice/modern shower room/toilet but again not much space in the room.
Decent hotel overall, far better than a travel lodge for reference.

Drinks are not cheap £6.50 a pint.

Stayed this weekend and very impressed. Room and reception staff were excellent. Most impressive was the staff at breakfast on Sunday, absolutely brilliant, especially the young man who couldn't have been more helpful and professional. Such a lovely and caring approach. He has excellent personal skills and a credit to the hotel.

The hotel is clean and quiet, a place to rest. Food is excellent, plenty of choices, there's parking available onsite as well as others cheap paid parkings all around

Room clean, food nice, parking great, excellent location, room with a view of demolition and takeaways but that's not IHG fault

Rooms we’re comfortable enough, bed and pillows were good. Air con wasn’t working but a fan was left in the room. The pressure in the shower wasn’t great either.
The menu was fairly basic for dinner and not to the standard you would expect for the price. Breakfast buffet was reasonable for the price of £15-£20.
Not sure I would book again but it was convenient for work.

Very nice rooms, staff very friendly & food very good. Hotel 12 min walk from bus/train interchange, there are bus stops round the corner from hotel with plenty of buses going back to the interchange.

The hotel was clean, well staffed and professional, although the parking was confusing and it was like a maze inside.

Nice bedroom and bed. The bathroom is a little on the small side but not a problem.
I was worried the window wouldn't open after reading what others said, but it was fine (openable).
Secure underground parking was the reason I stayed here. I'm on a motorcycle, so the security was important. Overall, it was a great stay.

Very nice hotel, typical Holiday Inn/IHG town centre. Easy car parking, pleasant entrance and friendly staff. Totally let down by my room! I have been an IHG Gold Ambassador for many years and used their hotels all over the world but I won't be staying here again! No reward at all for many years of loyalty to the group.
The shower is excellent but the shower room is so small I had to go in sideways (see photo) and it is impossible to dry oneself! The view from the window was totally obscured by what appeared to be massive aircon units (see photo) making the room so dark you have to put on the light even during the day. To top off the stay, the room, 131, was the farthest bar one from reception and a long walk from the lifts.
Ultimately, I thank Holiday Inn Bolton for removing the pressure to stay at IHG hotels and I will now feel totally able to stay at a greater variety . . . For information in the Autumn I will be travelling to Bucharest twice, Solihull, Rochdale and Sheffield and look forward to the "freedom" to choose my hotels on a different basis from brand loyalty 😁

Very tidy room, and all the staff and friendly and helpful. Just a couple of minor issues stopped it getting 5 stars. Our basin in the room was almost entirely blocked, and took about 5 minutes to drain. I mentioned it to reception, and it was very quickly remedied. Also, 'due to unforeseen circumstances' there was no hot breakfast on the first day of our stay. Minor inconvenience, but I had pre-paid for a hot breakfast that I was unable to have. If staff had proactively offered me a refund of the difference, or some alternative, that would have been nice. Otherwise, I was happy with my stay, and would stay again.
