The event has been organised by the Asian Business Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Mahirs Experience to upskill business leaders by promoting healthy cooking.
It will take place on Monday, 9 February at Mahirs Experience from 6pm onwards.
The event will also feature a keynote speech from Chef Daksha Parekh on health and nutrition.
Guests can also enjoy a fine dining plant-based taster menu during the event while connecting with likeminded professionals.
Chef Daksha, also known as Chef D, is a healthy cooking chef, plant-based educator, and plant-forward hospitality consultant with over 20 years of experience as a pioneering businesswoman.
Today, her work is focused on giving back to her community and industry through education, advocacy, and conscious, healthy food leadership.
Rooted in the belief that food, when chosen and cooked correctly, has the power to heal and transform, Chef D teaches people how to prevent, reverse, and manage lifestyle diseases through mindful cooking, practical nutrition, and real-world skills.
She is known for making healthy, plant-based food deeply satisfying, joyful, and delicious — proving that nutritious food never has to feel restrictive.
Alongside her cooking school and community workshops, Chef D works with restaurants, hotels, caterers, and food businesses as a Plant-forward Hospitality Consultant, helping them create inclusive menus, train teams, meet sustainability goals, and increase profitability.
Speaking about the event, ABCC president Monica Ghai said: “This event reflects our belief that women’s empowerment is strongest when it is shared.
“By opening the Women’s Network to all women across the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce membership, we are creating a space that is inclusive, supportive and rooted in connection.
“It is about bringing women together to learn from one another, build confidence, and strengthen the relationships that help both individuals and businesses thrive across our region.”
