The joint venture, led by Michelin-starred chef Aktar Islam, will focus on Awadhi cuisine, exploring the slow-cooked delicacies of this regional Indian cooking style.
The venture marks a strategic expansion for the group beyond its established Midlands base.
Born and raised in Birmingham, Aktar Islam began cooking in his family's restaurant at just 13 years old.
He has since earned two Michelin stars for his Birmingham restaurant, Opheem.
At Oudh 1722, he turns his attention to Awadhi cuisine.
Aktar said: “I was delighted with the service from Wilkes on the deal. Jeremy’s advice was always prompt and very commercial and he and the team at Wilkes made the process easy to manage.
“I felt that my interests were well looked after, particularly in the context of dealing with an experienced investor.”
Jeremy Parkin, consultant, corporate, Wilkes, said: “We were delighted to work with Michelin-starred chef Aktar Islam on this new venture in London.
“This is a key step in broadening the geographic reach of the group, leveraging the reputation Aktar has made at Opheem and exploring the slow-cooked delicacies of Awadhi cuisine.
“We wish him and his joint venture partner every success.”
